Holiday Card Class part 3

Well, these holiday cards are a little late, but I still wanted to share them. This was my second card class of December.  I love these cards! They were fun and yes, they took more time that the quick and easy cards I did a week earlier.  But the cards are worth the extra work.  My favorite was the white one.  It's a beautiful sparkling card using the Card Front Builder Thinlits Dies.

I CASED these fun cards. Sometimes I have more fun picking out other peoples ideas to share at class, rather than coming up with my own ideas.  I love the Copy And Share Everything way of making cards! Why stress about coming up with an idea when there are so many wonderful card ideas out there.

My favorite was the white card, but I admit I loved them all.  This beautiful sparkling card using the Card Front Builder Thinlits Dies*.

*This is a last-chance item, available while supplies last. After January 2, 2018, it will no longer be available.
I don't think the photos do it justice.  The dies let the Silver Glimmer Paper show through to twinkle for the moon and stars and silhouette of the trees.
Tips and Tricks:
I used a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock, placed the dies all together to run through the Big Shot, it was the star/moon die along the top of the paper and the 2 trees in the middle.  I also used the single tree die with a separate piece of white.
After die-cutting, I used the Softly Falling Embossing Folder for texture.  Then used the trees I had cut to pop up on the front with Dimensionals.

This fun Double Z card idea came from the Thanksgiving card I made at a shoebox swap.  My friend Jan Myers made the Thanksgiving card (see it HERE), and I thought how fun would this be for Christmas and even Valentine's Day.  I kept this one fairly simple for class, but you could go crazy with details on this.

I LOVE the Large Letters Framelits Dies with my Big Shot. I used the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack for my letters.  I cringed when I saw the cost of the letter dies, but then I realized all that I could do with them, and how much fun I could have! Plus if you wait and buy them during Sale-a-Bration (SAB) you can earn free SAB products!!  During SAB earn a free SAB with every $50 you spend and there are 2 levels of SAB this year!
It's kind of hard to see in the photos, but there are silver embossed snowflakes on the Be Merry Designer Series Paper.

This last card is from Leena Girsa at A La Card blog (see her card HERE).  I just loved how she used the Merry Café stamp set* from the Holiday catalog with the Be Merry Designer Series Paper and Brick Wall Textured Embossing Folder for layers and texture on this card.  It's such a cheery Christmas card!  Plus the Merry Café stamp set* stamp set coordinates with the Coffee Cups Framelits Dies from the annual catalog.
