Beautiful Rose Card

Look at this beautiful card my friend Glenda Timkovich made.  I just love it!
She used a quilling tool to make the rose in the middle.

Glenda made these beautiful cards for a swap at Tara's house.  What is a swap?  A group gets together and each person has made multiples of one card, and they trade with other people.  The goal is to get new ideas you can use and share.  I love doing card swaps, you can see so many great ideas.
The border on this card used the Framed Tulips embossing folder, shown in the Occasions mini catalog, page 28.  I love the embossing folders, they give a nice dimension to the cards.  Thanks Glenda for offering a great card idea.

Fun Card using Designer Paper

Here's a fun card my friend Marcia made in our demonstrator swap!  I love how she used the Framed Tulips embossing folder to frame the card.  All the swaps used supplies from the Occasions mini catalog.  Here's the cupcake card I made for the swap.
Marcia used the Specialty Designer Series paper Love Impressions out of the Occasions mini catalog.  Did you notice the sparkling hearts?  She used some of the Glimmer Paper, both items are on page 7 in the mini.

Blossom in Vanilla

Here's a beautiful Easter card using the Build a Blossom stamp set and Blossom Petals punch.  It's a little fuzzy but it shows off the sparkle.
This card would also make a great wedding card!
Supplies used:  Build a Blossom stamp set(clear), Very Vanilla card stock and craft ink, Elegant Eggplant Classic Ink, Iridescent Ice embossing powder, Big Shot with Framed Tulips emboss folder, Blossom Petals LX punch, 1" circle punch, Pearls.

Blossom Petals XL Punch CLICK HERE.
Really simple to put together, once you have the nifty trick that I saw on Patty Bennett's blog using the clear stamp set.  You can set up multiple stamps on one block so that you stamp and then punch.  What a time saver!  CLICK HERE to see the amazing tip from Catherine.  Since I was embossing I let them cool before punching.

Candy Wrapper Kisses

I love the Candy Wrapper die.  I needed some treats, so here you go.  I used one of the stamp sets out of the current Occasions mini catalog, Valentine Defined.  I figured this set is great for other things too, not just Valentine's day.
Here's a close up of the Peach Parfait candy wrapper, and they are both filled with Kisses.

Build a Blossom in Plum

Here's another card, I love Perfect Plum on this card!  I wanted to use this in my class, but there was another purple card, so I will just enjoy this.  Use the Build a Blossom stamp set and Blossom Petals punch, and this great time saving tip I saw the other day...  set up multiple stamps on one block to match up the stamps with the  punch.  CLICK HERE to see the amazing tip from Catherine.
This set and punch are in the Occasions mini catalog, ends April 30!
I used a D block to fit all 4 stamps on the block.  I found I could stamp 3 times across my card stock (8-1/2" wide)
Punch out a set of punches on scrap paper first, then use that to line up your stamps on the block. It took a little wiggle time for me to set it all up right.  But such a time saver!!!

Build a Blossom for class

Here is the card I made for my April class using the Build a Blossom stamp set and Blossom Petals punch.  I saw a great tip on Patty Bennett's blog using the clear stamp set.  You can set up multiple stamps on one block so that you stamp and then punch.  What a time saver!  CLICK HERE to see the amazing tip from Catherine.  I have to admit it is fun and way easier to make lots of petals for my cards this way.

I used a D block to fit all 4 stamps on the block.  But for the class I only used 3 of the stamps.
Punch out a set of punches on scrap paper first, then use that to line up your stamps on the block. It took a little wiggle time for me to set it all up right.  But such a time saver!!!
