Bow Builder Punch card

Have you seen the Bow Builder Punch in the Stampin'Up! Occasions catalog?  Skip the store an make your own tiny bows with just a punch.  Choose the paper, punch and adhere, it's done! I used the Something Borrowed Designer Series Paper from the Occasions catalog for this cute bow.   

I got the idea for this card from a make-n-take at Tara's.  We were having a demonstrator get together, swapping ideas and having fun.  See Tara's card HERE.

The Bow Builder Punch is really easy to use.  Here's the steps, use the punch twice.  You will need 5 of the 6 pieces you punched.  There will be one of the little rectangles left over.

Use the largest piece from the punch, fold it over in half. Use a glue dot to hold the piece together.  After both of the largest pieces have been folded, use another glue dot to put the two together.  Then use a glue dot to adhere the other piece behind the folded bow.  After both are glued, use the small rectangle and wrap around.  Easy!

Here's your bow, punch twice for a perfect little bow.

Mosaic Punch Cards

I like the Mosaic Punch, and it's on sale through Monday!  Here are a couple of fun ideas using this punch and the coordinating stamp set, Mosaic Madness (available in wood or clear).

My friend Crista Bailey made this card over a year ago for a demonstrator swap.  I loved her card, but I think she might have CASEd the idea from someone else?  What a fun use of the stamps, punch and embossing folder too.  

Crista's card is what gave me the idea to make this Christmas card last year, total copy.

Card Swap and Treats from Stampin'Up! Leadership

Here's a couple of ideas to share from my trip to the Stampin'Up! Leadership Conference in January.  Orlando was a lot nicer than Denver is right now!  I'm looking at lots of white snow right now, a good day to craft and stay warm inside.  

These sweet treats were inspired from a card my friend Jan Myers made for a demonstrator swap using supplies from the Stampin'Up! Occasions catalog.  See products from the Occasions Catalog HERE.

I loved the colors Jan used so I decided to copy her colors and the flower punch for my little treats.  Each one has a Hershey's nugget of chocolate in it.  

I used the Ornate Tag Topper Punch, Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack, Old Olive 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Pearls, and card stocks: Bermuda Breeze, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Melon Mambo.

The Tag Topper Punches are perfect for making treats like this.  Card stock is just under 2" wide, and you can make any length for your treats you want.  I used 2" x 4-1/4", scored at 1-5/8" and 2-5/8", so your score marks are 1" apart.  The nuggets fit perfectly in that.  I used a mini glue dot to keep the treat in place, and tied the top with the ribbon.  You can see the punch makes the decorative top and hole for ribbon at the same time.  

You can make your treats longer, to stack more nuggets on top of each other or use other treats in the pouch.

Here's the cards I made for swaps at Leadership.  I love the Painted Petals stamp set, it's so versatile.  Did you know it is available in Wood, Clear or Photopolymer stamps!   I wanted some clean and easy Thank You cards.  

Supplies used:  Painted Petals stamp set, card stock: Whisper White, Bermuda Bay and Pacific Point, ink: Bermuda Bay, Pacific Point and Old Olive, Big Shot, Polka Dot Embossing Folder, 2-1/2" Circle Punch, Painted Blooms Cotton Twine, Dimensionals

More Valentine ideas

Where does the time go?  I had a busy weekend, with an Open House last Saturday, so no time to post on the blog.  But then I spent Sunday and Monday in bed, sick.  Why does being sick have such bad timing?  So here are some late Valentine ideas from last weekend.  

Cindy Russell and Jan Myers made these cute treats for us at the Stamping'Up! Leadership Convention.  What a sweet treat, and I love the chocolate inside!!

Here's a couple of black & white card ideas I came up with before I decided on the horizontal card I offered at my last class.  

The card on the right is CASEd from Dawn Olchefske.  I loved her card and thought it was so cute that I had to make one, and then another one too.  So here are the two I made, thanks Dawn.  

My friend Margie Slyck made this cute card, it was a swap at the Stampin'Up! Leadership Convention.  

This sweet card is from my friend Cami, I know it's not Stampin'Up! supplies, but still thought it was cute.  I especially love the embossing folder.  

Hope you enjoy all these ideas.  With a snow storm coming, I hope to have some craft time this weekend so I can share more ideas.
