Beach Happy Card

Here's a fun card from the past.  I made this card back in January when I was really tired of the snow and wanted some sun! I set up my Stamparatus so all the stamps lined up perfectly when I stamped this card.

The Beach Happy Stamp set makes me smile.  I love the idea of going to the beach, the sun, sand and water, love it!
Beach Happy Stamp Set (Retiring) photopolymer - 148585   $17.00
One of the things I LOVE about my Stamparatus is having multiple plates for more sides to work with!  I used one side of a plate to set up the chair/umbrella stamp for black.  Then 2 other sides of plates for the Grapefruit Grove and Pear Pizzazz inks for the colors.  And a fourth fo the greeting.
This set up worked great at class.  And everyone had stamped images that were lined up perfectly!!!

For the sky and sand I sponged a little Balmy Blue on the top and Crumb Cake along the bottom.
You can see the Vellum leaves sticking out of each side.  The Leaf Punch is fun and has so many uses.
And don't forget to stamp the inside!

LAST CHANCE FOR RETIRING PRODUCTS FROM STAMPIN'UP!
The Retiring List has been released from Stampin'Up!  I think the easiest way to see the LAST CHANCH products is to go to the online store.
These items are available until June 3--OR WHILE SUPPLIES LAST

These are the retiring In Colors, get them and all the other retiring products before they are gone!  Many items are only while supplies last.
Stampin'Up! is saying goodbye to wood mount and clear mount stamps.  HOWEVER, there are still wood mount background stamps in the North America catalog.
Going forward there will be Photopolymer and Cling stamps (Cling looks similar to the clear mount stamps, but they stick to the block soooooo much better!!)

Big Shot & Accessories are Retiring
One of the biggest changes rolling out is this--Stampin'Up! is making some big changes to the die-cutting and embossing product line and that will give us a better opportunity to support the long-term vision we have for the line.  What does that mean?? Well, Stampin'Up! will be retiring the Big Shot and changing manufacturers for the dies and embossing folder.
There will still be dies and embossing folders.  While Stampin'Up! won't have a Big Shot in its product offering next year, the company will offer new dies and embossing folders starting with the 2019-2020 Annual catalog.  Yay!  Since we are using a new supplier (moving to a direct-to-manufactured relationship), the dies and folders will be manufactured in a different way.  Both the new-style and the old-style dies and embossing folders can wok with any die-cutting & embossing machine (so don't dump your Big Shot just yet).
The only difference is that the current dies cut right along the edge of where you place them -  you can see the white border you are cutting.  Whit the new style, you place the dies right along the stamped edge.  You will still get the beautiful, white border - you just won't see it when you place the die over the stamp.

Stampin'Up! Retiring List

The Retiring List comes out today from Stampin'Up!  I'll be sending email to customers with the list, but for now I think the easiest way to see the products is to go to the online store.

These are the retiring In Colors, get them and all the other retiring products before they are gone!  Many items are only while supplies last.

April 15th -- the RETIRING LIST COMES OUT!!
LOOK FOR MORE INFORMATION BY GOING ONLINE TO SEE ALL THE RETIRING PRODUCTS IN MY ONLINE STORE...

FOR NOW I WANT YOU TO KNOW ABOUT A FEW THINGS THAT ARE CHANGING...

Price Increases
Stampin'Up! regularly reviews the prices of its products, taking into account the cost of doing business, global exchange rates, increased supplier costs and market comparisons.  The company has always taken a conservative approach to raising prices, delaying price increases for as long as they can.  When the cost of supplies goes up, though, it's sometimes necessary to pass along some of those increases to customers and demonstrators. The increases are small, most are between $0.25 and $1.00.  Here is a link to the list if you would like to look at it.

The Stampin' Trimmer is Retiring
Stampin'Up! will discontinue selling the Stampin' Trimmer - including all replacement blades (scoring blades and cutting mats have already sold out!).  The company has experienced challenges with the supplier and is taking the opportunity to research and explore a replacement option for this product.  That makes room for something better!
Stampin'Up! has ordered six months of inventory (based on recent history) to help demonstrators and customers during the transition, but I expect they'll be gone soon. As of today, April 15th, the order limit fo the blades will increase from 3 to 6. And from now until September will receive intermittent shipments from the supplier.  Throughout these months there may be times the blades are not order able.
While I love my Stampin' Trimmer and use it daily, I'm excited to see opportunities for better products.
Stampin' Trimmer Cutting Blades - 126995  price $6.00

Stampin' Trimmer - 126889   price $30.00

Double Easel Card in Flirty Flamingo

Here is another fun Double Easel Fun Fold card using Incredible Like You stamp set from the Stampin'Up! Occasions catalog and the Stitched Labels framelits Dies.  I just loved the one I made in January and changed the colors for this card.  See measurements below. (I'm a little late in posting this card idea!  Sorry, time got away, so if you were looking for this in February, it's been a bit of a wait!)

I got the idea for this card from Patty Bennett.  She made a wonderful double easel fun fold card using Tropical Chic.

I changed the colors and Designer Series Paper and offered this card at my card class.  It's amazing how much a card can change with a simple color change.

Here's a great front view and folded out view of the card.  They are surprisingly easy to make!

Here are the measurements for the card pieces.

Here's the inside of the card.  This card may look complicated but it is fun and easy to make.

SUPPLIES:
Incredible Like You stamp set
Stitched Labels Framelits Dies
Petal Pink 4-1/4” x 11” score at 5-1/2”
