Quick and Easy cards

Needed some nice cards to put with gifts at the end of the school year, and I needed them quick.  I just love the embossing folders!  With my Big Shot I can pull these cards together on the fly.  Just love the Rhinestones for a little bling.  
Yes, I know the stamp is from Sale-a-Bration(SAB), but I still love using it.  

I did something similar during SAB with pearls on the front.  Given that I needed it quick, I went for stamping in one color instead of using my markers, and then a Rhinestone in the middle of the flower gives it that little extra something.  Need a quick pack of cards?  This is the way to go!

Supplies:

Melon Mambo and Whisper White card stock, Melon Mambo classic ink, Elegant Lines embossing folder, Jewels-Rhinestones, Scallop Circle punch.  

Here's the card I did during SAB that inspired me, these were just faster to make.

Happy 4th!

Happy 4th of July and Happy Birthday to my mom.  Here's a card to celebrate her birthday in red, white and blue.    

 If you want a star punched out from the center of your star, start with the smaller punch, then use the bigger punch (center it inside the hole from the smaller punch) to punch your shape.  You can do this with any set of punches you want.  

The greeting is from On Your Birthday, and the stars are from retired punches.  Polka Dot embossing folder with Big Shot.

Strength and Hope card

Look at this beautiful card Nicole Koening made.  I love the gate fold on it, it's so fun when you can change it up from a traditional card opening.  This great card features the Strength and Hope set, Flower Garden Embossing Folder, and Beyond the Garden DSB.  You can see these and other great items in the Summer mini catalog from Stampin'Up!  This great stamp set is available in wood or clear mount, and Stampin'Up! donates $2 from this purchase to Breast Cancer Research Foundation, see page 27 of the Summer mini for more information.

She even hand cut the butterflies out of vellum, nice touch.
