Secret Garden Framed Art

Framed art is something I always love, but I have never tried it before.  This was my first try, I love how it turned out.

I saw the new Weekly Deals yesterday from Stampin'Up! (for April 8-14) and it reminded me of a project I made months ago and forgot share!  My upline Tara Bazata had a fantastic Holiday get together for us all.  Everyone brings a handmade item to the party for the exchange.  Here's my project for the gift exchange.  I love all the layers and found a frame with some room, not quite a shadow box, but it worked well.   Shop online anytime through my stampinup store HERE

Here is my project before I put it in the frame.  You can see the layers, and I used my bone folder to curl the ends so the flowers stand out more.

Sale items are while supplies last.

Here are some of the flowers from the project.  I stamped flowers, then used the framelit to cut them out.  I used Whisper White craft ink and Whisper White embossing powder on vellum, and the heat tool  to emboss the flowers.  The Secret Garden Framelits were perfect every time.
Use a bone folder to curl the edges up giving the flowers more depth.  Crystal Effects, Dimensionals and Mini Glue Dots work well to put the flowers today.  The Pearls were a great way to finish the flowers.
