Halloween cookies

I made cookies with my new Sweet Pressed Cookie Stamps.  I made some last weekend to try out, and offered them to the girls at card class.  I love Shortbread Cookies, and these were good!  I made some this weekend to give to my Hostess Club girls when they pick up their orders.  I was trying out some tag ideas too.  Not sure how well you can see the pumpkin face through the cello bag, but they look great in person.

Imagine all the fun you can have making the cookies, and then serving them to friends.  It's a fun activity to bake with friends or with kids, and the stamps will be great for upcoming holiday parties.
The stamps come with 2 yummy recipes, Sugared Shortbread and Sugar Cookies.
CLICK HERE to order, and look at the great stamps, tags and twine that would go well with these when you make your holiday cookies.
The easy-to-use cookie stamp has a solid wood handle with three interchangeable stamp images: a heart, jack-o-latern, and a snowflake.
These cookies were packed in Stampin'Up! Cello Bags (page 181), and you can order great Kraft Gift Boxes from the Holiday Mini catalog (page 15) to hold your cookies too.

3x3 Halloween cards

Happy Halloween!
These are a few of the cute cards I got during a swap I did at Convention this year.  This was a 3 x 3 card swap, and I just LOVE all the cards I got!  I thought these were so cute I wanted to share them for Halloween.  They may be small, but just think how much fun you would having making them or giving them.  Plus you can use these cards for ideas to make your bigger cards.
Top left card is by Kathya Hidalgo, top right card is by Teresa Didora, and bottom card is by Marci Snyder.  I think they are all great.

Boo Box directions

Since the Boo boxes were so cute the other day, I thought I would make some with different colors.  If I get enough of these made this weekend, I am bringing in a little treat for everyone at work on Monday.
The idea came from Brenda Quintana.  She won an art contest with these fun boxes, and was featured in the Stampin' Success Magazine that Stampin'Up! Demonstrators get every month. I realized when I was writing these up tonight that I followed her directions to a point, but didn't add a bunch of the extra things she did.  But that's okay, I like my boxes.  Hope you enjoy!
The orange and black box was made with Peach Parfait DSP and Pumpkin Pie ink.  The other boxes were made with: Basic Black and Old Olive card stock, Frightful Sight DSP, Spooky Bingo Bits stamps, Basic Black, Basic Gray and Old Olive classic inks, Punches:  Petal Card Double, 1" Circle, 1" Square and Postage Stamp, Simply Score tool, Sticky Strip and Snail.
The Spooky Bingo Bits stamp set has so many great images in it.
Box directions:
1. Cut a strip of black card stock 4-3/4" x 1-1/8", then score at 1-1/8", 2-1/4", 3-3/8" and 4-1/2".
2. Fold along score lines and use a piece of sticky strip on the end tab.
3. Adhere 1" squares of Designer Series Paper to each square on the strip of black card stock.
4. Punch out one Petal Card piece from the Petal Card Double Punch in black and one in another color.
Note:  This punch can be a little tricky to use, until you get used to it.  Make sure to put pressure on the bottom and then top of the punch to get a perfectly punched and scored piece.
5. Put sticky strip on all of the semi circle flaps of the black punched piece, remove the red liner and adhere the flaps to the scored strip of black card stock to form an open-ended box.
6.Put sticky strip on one of the semi circle flaps of the Old Olive punched shape, then stick it inside to make the lid of the box.  (this box is sitting on it's side to show where I put the top into the box)
7. Use the Postage Stamp Punch for a black piece.  I stamped an image from the Spooky Bingo Bits and punched it out using the 1" Square Punch.
8. Use the 1" Circle Punch to punch out BOO! and adhere with snail to the front semi circle flap of the top.  Then adhere the Postage Stamp shape to the top of the box.
Now you can make your own boxes!  I can't wait to make some Christmas boxes next.

Halloween treats

I love the new little Cello bags in the Holiday mini catalog. Here are 3 of my Halloween ideas featured in the last couple of weeks.  Think of all the great little treats you can give to family and friends, using these Cello bags.  They even have a seal on the top so the treat won't fall out.
Enjoy the fun ideas, you can see the Matchbox spider box HERE.
Here is a little treat for a friend filled with orange M and M's.  I used the Spooky Bingo Bits with my punches to decorate this one.
