January Paper Pumpkin - Lovely Treat

Wow, I cannot believe how cute the January Paper Pumpkin kit is!  I get a kit in the mail every month from Stampin'Up!  Some months I am so busy I cannot get to things right away, but the timing was perfect this month!  I set aside to craft yesterday and when I got the mail, there was my red box!!  

Have you ever had one of those weeks or months when you think you are going to get so much done and as the time goes by you feel farther and farther behind? That’s how the last month has been. I knew December would be crazy, and it was (of course! It's December!). I enjoyed the neighborhood cookie exchange and the work potluck, and the stamping get together for the holidays too. Then it was Christmas break, so I thought it’s the a great time to get caught up. But we had family visiting, so maybe after that? Oh wait, now it's time to go back to work. Did I get stamping done? No. Did I get my craft area cleaned up? But today I finally got some stamping time in. Perfect timing too, my Paper Pumpkin arrived today. Such a cute kit and I love all the hearts, it will be perfect for Valentine’s Day or just sweet treats to hand out to friends.  My daughter is a little old for Valentine's parties, but my friends will still enjoy a treat.

Here’s the kit, and look at all the contents! There’s a lot of stuff in this kit! 

There are 24 cello bags for treats!  That's enough for a whole class or a lot of friends!  Plus you get this great Filled with Love Photopolymer stamp set, a Real Red ink spot, 2 sheets of hearts, 6 sheets of tags (3 designs), 2 sheets of pennants (3 colors), 24 gold clips, pink and gold baker's twine (10 years) and 1 sheet of glue dots.  
All I needed was a pair of scissors to make treats, and that was just to cut the twine.

I can make all the cute bags, but I can also do other things with this. I made 2 really quick cards using the stamp set. Really, it took less than 5 minutes to make both cards!
