Santa Card from Britney

I had to show this fun and creative card that my friend and downline Britney Best gave me this past weekend!  She used the Santa's workshop Suite of products to make this great card.  Sadly some of those products in that suite are not longer available.  They were so popular that supplies were depleted.  But you can still get the Signs of Santa stamp set!

This card was so cute I just had to share!  I hope you are working on your cards.  If you have questions or need anything let me know!

The Year-End Closeout is here from Stampin'Up!
You are probably busy with all the holiday activities right now. But if you're still in a crafting mood, or looking to stock up for the future then this is a great time to check out the Year-End Closeout items.
It’s your last chance to show 2018 some love!

The Year-End Closeout is our chance to do a little inventory cleaning—and your opportunity to take advantage of special year-end deals on retiring and surplus items. Remember: Some items are last-chance and limited-inventory, so place your orders while supplies last!

Because some items may go quickly you can see the available items online through the website, and to see the whole list of what is/was available click on the pdf below.

Dashing Along Designer Series Paper is available!
As many of you will remember, Stampin'Up! has reintroduced the Dashing Along Designer Series Paper (item 149903, offered earlier this year as part of a promotion) to give you another holiday-themed option to use for your Christmas papercrafting. This beautiful, 12" x 12" (30.5 x 30.5 cm) traditional Christmas paper has a festive, eclectic feel and is perfect for layering.

Use this Hostess code — EHZPFCEK when you place an online order of $30 or more during the Online Extravaganza (December 5-19) to receive a package of Stampin’ Dimensionals from me.  They are my favorite way to give a little pop to my cards.  The Dimensionals will not ship with your order, I will be sending them out separately after Christmas.  This is for orders less than $150, if you are placing an order of $150 or more, please do NOT use the hostess code, you will get hostess benefits of your own.

There are great products for the holidays.  Please contact me with any questions or if you need assistance ordering.  I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season!

Wise Men from Afar Swap Card

More fun Holiday cards!!  Wow, I know how busy December always is, but it still surprises me.  I haven't posted ideas for a few days :(  Why?  It's been a busy week!  I won tickets to a private concert for the Lumineers here in Denver (so much fun!!! Thank you KBCO) and went to my neighborhoods annual cookie exchange.  With all the baking, working a full time job and social fun at the concert and Marietta's house I ran out of time in my day.  Do you have that problem too?  I love this time of year, but I find it hard to get all my fun crafting done, and then sharing it here on my blog.  One of my #6monthstampingoals is to do more with my blog.  What kind of goals do you have for the new year?

I just had to share this fun card from my friend Cindy Russell.  As a Stampin'Up! demonstrator I participate in organized card swaps.  We swap ideas when new catalogs are coming out so we all see more fun ideas to share.  I love it when I get my cards back from a swap!  It's those fun treasures you see and think wow!  This was one of those wow moments.
At first I thought this was from the Night in Bethlehem set with coordinating dies, I guess I was so excited I just had to stop and look a little closer.  They are both beautiful sets!
Cindy used the Wise Men from Afar stamp set (available in Clear or Wood), page 24. And the copper embossing powder is what really makes this card stand out to me.
I love heat embossing, it's an easy way to add sparkle and depth to any project.
Cindy used one of the washi tapes from the Year of Cheer Specialty Washi Tape pack, 5 rolls of copper, gold and silver washi fun!  It makes a nice finish for this beautifully elegant card.
I really do not think the photos do this card justice, but I tried with lots of photos. Different times of day, different lighting, it might have helped. I did learn that copper emboss is hard to photograph.

I love how Cindy used the Big Shot with the Circle Layering Framelit Dies to make the window and that this card has more of a book feel with the extra page so to speak. Did you see the circle of copper around the circle opening?  I believe this is the Copper Foil Sheets, which are a great way to add that extra touch to your projects.  It's all the details that just make this a great card.

This and other amazing stamp sets are only available during this Holiday catalog.  They will be gone January 2, 2018.

Here are all the cards from this fun swap.  I know I've shared some, so tomorrow see the rest of the Christmas cards and then Monday I'll share anything else I missed.  Enjoy!!
