Heart Card in Smoky Slate

Here's a great card from my friend Kate Amberg.  I love the idea of the big heart surrounded by all the little hearts and buttons, the white on white is beautiful.   
This is perfect for a wedding, but since it's the beginning of February I thought it would also make a great Valentine card too!  Imagine this card in Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White?

Love - Day 12

Day 12 of 12 days of Love... 
Today is the last day of my 12 days of love!  I hope you have all enjoyed the fun and beautiful ideas.  I know I enjoyed sharing them all.  So today I have more than one, I have 3 to share.  

I LOVE the More Amore Specialty Designer Series Paper (page 10 of the Stampin'Up! Spring mini catalog).  I was playing around with some letters from my Big Shot die and my daughter came over and arranged them on the card.  I liked it so I made the card around it.

I had some extra swaps left from a beautiful card I made a while back, but I needed a different saying on the card fronts.  So I trimmed down the card front and adhered it to a Very Vanilla card, and added the punch along the front where I cut it down.  I thought it turned out nicely.  Hope you enjoy all these fun ideas.

Valentine Love cards - Day 1

Today starts my 12 days of Love posts.  Check everyday for a new idea, love is the theme so here we go!

Tonight is my Open House!  Here are some Valentine cards you can make while you are here.  But even if you cannot make it, you can still get the bundle!   Here's how...

From Feb. 1-10 place an order of $50 or more and get a KIT (pack of supplies) to make 4 cards, FREE!  You can also purchase the pack for $5. (Shipping is extra if you are not local)
All the cutting, punching, Big Shot work is done, you will need to stamp and put together.  

These are fun cards and you can stamp any greetings you want.  

My Open House is this Friday, 4-6:30 pm.  Be sure to RSVP and stop by.  I will have a free make and take for everyone who RSVP's, and some Valentine packs to purchase and make too.  Contact me for more information.

Another Sincere Hearts card

Here's another version of a card I have showed a few times.  I still have some Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper, so I thought this card would be fun in Lucky Limeade.  I like this card, it has a fresh look for Spring.

I really like Lucky Limeade, and how the same template has changed over time.  I love how other people inspire you too.  Plus it's easy to use the same layout and just change your colors.

Sincere Hearts

At my February card class one of the girls changed up one of the cards.  I loved the way it looked and I made up some more.  

Why the change?  First my Laced Ribbon Border Punch decided to jam.  No worries, I used some wax paper to lubricate it and then some aluminum foil to sharpen the cuts so now it works great again!  But I did not have time to do that during class, so I pulled out the Dotted Ribbon Scallop Border Punch to use in place of the other punch.  I changed the punch, and some the girls changed the layout of the card to meet their needs.  I love how it turned out.  
It was all the same supplies (except the punch), they turned over the double sided paper, used the other stamp set, and moved everything around.
