Christmas Card Class from November

Here are the cards from my November 18th card class.  I CASED one of these beautiful quick and easy cards from my friend Marcia, who is also a demonstrator.
I also realized I have been so busy stamping I forgot to post! After that November class, I had 2 more classes in December!  So my challenge to myself is over the next 2 weeks I will share all the fun and beautiful ideas I have from holiday card swaps, convention and holiday card classes.
2017 November 18th Holiday Card Class
The gray Snowflake card idea came from a Holiday Swap I did with friends, Marcia Winterstein made this fun idea.  And they were easy to put together!  The Real Red Z fold card features the Cheers to the Year stamp set, and the Merry & Bright card features the Festive Phrases stamp set and is a fun gift card holder.

Come back tomorrow for details on all of these fun cards from my November Holiday Card Class.

Gift Card Holders Swap

Here are the rest of the Gift Card Holders from the Swap!!  Last week's pictures were not great, but here are new photos, close ups of the fun Gift Card Holders.  I hope you enjoy these projects.  Many are CASEd ideas from other fabulous demonstrators.
Jan Myers made fun treats for each of us, with candy inside. These mini coffee cups were a hit! Jan's idea came from Pink Buckaroo Designs. Love Erica's tutorial.

Crista Bailey made a fun gift card holder (Crumb Cake card with Merry die cut), she got the idea from Dawn Olchefske.

Glenda Timkovich made a beautiful gift card holder using the Embellished Ornaments Bundle (Clear or Wood) from the Holiday Catalog. There is an ornament that pulls out of the top and holds a card or money.

Jan Myers made a great and easy card holder (black and gold on right). The envelope holds a card, and she used the Bow Builder Punch and Merry Die Cut to decorate.

My gift card holder pattern came from LeeAnn Greff. She posted an easy gift card holder that's perfect for any occasion. I found the idea for the reindeer punch art from Dena Rekow, when she posted an adorable bag/gift card holder with the reindeer on the front. She got the reindeer from Jill Hillard--LOVE IT!! Dena even posted a great picture of all the punches used to make putting the reindeer together so easy!

Here are my cards for the swap, I used the Paper Pumpkin November 2015 kit (Mistletoe & Holly) stamps for the greeting.  SEE MORE FOR DIRECTIONS FROM MY BLOG POST HERE.

Reindeer Punch Gift Card Holders

Look at these fun gift card holders!!  I made some of these for a Gift Card Swap, and wanted to share the directions and supplies with you.  I'll post better pictures of the other gift card swaps soon.
Dena Rekow posted some great pictures, and a chart of the punches used to make the reindeer.  She gave credit to Jill Hillard for the punched reindeer idea.  I loved what they both did with the reindeer.  I spent some time making a bunch of reindeer for cards.
I only used some of the punches that Dena did.  The punches I used were:  Owl punch for head, eyes and tail (just a small piece of the ear and head to make the tail), Oval Punch for body (cut a small piece off), 1/2" Circle Punch for the nose and the hooves (cut off a small piece), Tree Punch for antlers and ears (ears are from the tear drop shape on the punch).  I used Tombow Multi Purpose Glue, Glue Dots and Dimensionals to put the reindeer together.
LeeAnn Greff posted an easy gift card holder weeks ago.  I just love how versatile this card holder is!  They work great for Christmas, but also for anytime of year.
Directions for Gift Card Holder:
4-1/4" x 11" card, scored at 2" and 5-1/2". Use a Circle or Oval punch on the end for circle shape to pull out gift card.  Tear and Tape to adhere when you fold over.

Here are the cards for the swap, I used the Paper Pumpkin November 2015 kit (Mistletoe & Holly) stamps for the greeting.  Starbucks had cute cup shaped gift cards at the store, perfect for a fun and different gift card!
Hope you enjoy these fun and easy gift card holders!!

Christmas Gift Card Holders

Here are some fun gift card holders from a gift card swap.  Jan, Crista, Glenda and myself swapped some fun ideas and I wanted to share them. There was lots of CASING going on from other great demonstrators. I love how many demonstrators copy and share ideas.  I hope I have given credit to all ideas.  If I missed something, please contact me so I can give credit where credit is due.  All craft supplies are from Stampin'Up!
From left to right:
Jan Myers made fun treats for each of us, with candy inside. These mini coffee cups were a hit! Jan's idea came from Pink Buckaroo Designs. Love Erica's tutorial.

My gift card holder pattern came from LeeAnn Greff. She posted an easy gift card holder that's perfect for any occasion. Precision Base Plate
Many of the ideas in this swap used a Big Shot with dies and frailest. Right now the Precision Base Plate is on Sale (through Monday, December 14!!) as part of the Weekly Deals. This product is a must for Big Shot users. ONLY $18.75 THROUGH MONDAY!
I love detailed dies, but sometimes it's hard to make all the fine cuts crisp and sharp. The Precision Base Plate adds a little more oomph to your die sandwich, making working with detailed dies a dream! I used to use wax paper to help keep the details clean and help get the paper out of the die. No more! It works great with the Magnetic Platform too.

Here are close ups of Glenda's gift card holder and mine. I hope to get close ups of the others posted this week. Plus directions for my gift card holder.

There are so many great products in the Stampin'Up! Holiday catalog, but some will be gone when this catalog ends.
Say goodbye to retiring products from the 2015 Holiday Catalog, but before you do, there's still an opportunity to order your favorites. Retiring products will only be available until January 4, or while supplies last, so now's a great time to order them before they're gone!
