Just Thank You

I copied this card right out of the 2011-2012 Idea Book and Catalog.  There is a cute box on page 17, and I love the front of it.  I thought it would make a great card.  Now I want to make more.  I love this stamp, and it is only $6.95!  What a great deal, you can find it on page 20 with the other under $10 stamps in the A la Carte section.

Did you see they added more things to the Clearance Rack?
I love shopping the Stampin'Up! Clearance Rack, you can get a great deal on crafting supplies, and maybe you'll find something you missed before it retired too.  Click here to see the Clearance Rack deals.

I love all the great ideas in the catalog.  I love to look through it for ideas and inspiration.  If you have not gotten one yet, contact me to get your own.

Supplies:  Just Thank You stamp, Very Vanilla, Peach Parfait, Pool Party, Early Espresso card stock, Early Espresso Classic ink, Lace Ribbon Border Punch, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, Scallop Edge Border Punch, Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder and Big Shot, Jewels - Rhinestones, Dimensionals.

Candy Conversation Card

Here's the third card we did at my card class over the weekend. I got the idea from Jennie Maier.  I loved her idea, but there is always that tweak to make it how you like it.

I really like how the card turned out, but there were a few problems along the way with this one.  First I was in a hurry to make a second sample of this card for class.  I thought I was grabbing a blank card to use in Riding Hood Red (was even excited I didn't have to cut and score it first).  So after Liz got here and started to make her card I thought I should do something to the inside of the card.  Opened it up and what did I find????
So here is the inside and the outside of the card.  Outside is the Valentine's card, inside was some beer mugs from a card class a few years back when we did a spiral card.  It would have worked better if the beer mugs were right-side-up!  Lesson learned:  check the inside of your card stock when you grab a blank card.  We had a good laugh though.
Supplies: Candy Conversations stamp, Riding Hood Red, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla card stocks,Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper, Markers: Riding Hood Red, Calypso Coral, Lucky Limeade, Early Espresso, Peach Parfait, Lace Ribbon Border, Fashionable Hearts Embosslit die, Dimensionals.

The SAB mini catalog is full of fun things to pick from, pick one SAB product for every $50 you spend!!!  Order online or contact me to place your order.

Here's a chart to show all the great things you can earn when you host a workshop.  Did you know you can earn hostess benefits when you place an individual order of $150 or more?

Wisteria Thank You

I did this card in Poppy Parade and Wisteria Wonder, just could not decide which I liked more.  It was part of my Thank You card class recently.  The idea came from a card I saw on Dawn Olchefske's blog.  With some changes to the colors, and stamps, I thought it would work perfect for Holiday type Thank You cards.  Contact me if you are interested in cards you have seen on my blog.
Supplies:  Season of Joy and Curly Cute stamp sets, Wisteria Wonder and Whisper White card stock, Wisteria Wonder Classic Ink and Designer Series Paper, Lace Ribbon Border Punch, Basic Pearls, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
I know Red is more traditional, but I like the purple too.  It works great with the pearls.
I used Basic Pearls in the centers of the flowers and on the punch to add a little bling!

Contact me if you have any questions about this card, or any other projects I have posted.
