Scallop Tag Topper Punch Tags

Sometimes I want a cute tag when I am giving things to customers.  Here are some tags I mage to put on treats.  One of the nice things about this tag is it also works on a card front.

 The Scallop Tag Topper Punch makes pretty tags, quick and easy.  

 The tags work well on a card front too. The card has a textured background using the Polka Dot Texture Embossing Folder.  The tag was popped up with dimensional.

Thank You Flower card two ways

Here's a fun Thank You card done 2 ways.  I just love the Botanical Gardens Product Suite and especially the Botanical Builder Framelits Dies. So I thought it would be fun to make a card using bright colors and some flowers from the dies.  But then I thought it would be great to make the same type of card using punches instead.  That way if you don't have a Big Shot you have another great option for making this card. 

I love this flower!  The big yellow flower is my favorite die in the set.  Using the Botanical Builder Framelits Dies with the Big Shot gives you lots of options.  This card shows off the large flower, one of the smaller flowers and the little sunburst in the middle of the big flower.

Here's a card I made for my friend Stephanie.  She got a new job, which of course means a pretty card for her!!  And a great lunch downtown to celebrate.

Ornate Tag Topper Punch Treats

Sometimes I just need some sweet treats to give to friends.  Here are some I made a few weeks ago.  I used the Ornate Tag Topper Punch to make these easy treats.  

This punch is on sale through Monday, July 13 at 30% off!

To make these treats use card stock that is just under 2" wide, any length you want.  The candy I used is 1" wide, so I found the middle and scored 1/2" to each side of middle. 

They are fun and easy to make.

Here's the products I used to make these sweet treats.

Ornate Tag Topper Punch

Create your own tag toppers, bookmarks, bellybands and more.  Insert a 2" stripe of card stock (any length) and punch.

To make the Flowers:
I used 2 sizes of punched flowers and layered them together Pansy Punch and Petite Petals Punch, but you could use any flower punches to make flowers like these.  
Use a bone folder to distress the card stock, brake down the fibers by using the the bone folder to curl the petals and crumple up the paper.  
Keep working with the card stock until you can see the edges separating so you can peel them apart.
Then glue the 2 punched flowers together, I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Adhere the flower with a Dimensional.

The Pansy Punch and Petite Petals Punch both coordinate with stamps in the catalog too.  Imagine all the fun you can have making projects with these punches.

My March Paper Pumpkin Kit 2015

I was so excited when my March Paper Pumpkin kit arrived!  But… March was crazy for us.  Our family was getting ready for a trip to Florida for Spring Break, plus getting blog posts done ahead, and making sure I had customers taken care of for Sale-a-Bration too.  So I had to wait until we got back to make some fun cards.

I saw photos of other peoples projects online, but it's not the same.  It's so much more fun to craft than to just look at pictures.  All though I do love looking at ideas on Pinterest.com.  You can see all my Pinterest pins on my Paper Pumpkin Board too.  I am always looking for fun and different ideas for Paper Pumpkin kits.

Here's the kit, look at all the stuff it comes with!  Makes 9 cards, and I love the Daffodil Delight Baker's Twine.  I stamped a few of the white bubble looking pieces first before sewing.

I have not done sewing like this since I was a kid.  I was not too sure if I wanted to sew my letters, but then again, I had to try.  The kit comes with a needle too!  

 It's been so long since I used a needle and thread I admit it took a while to thread my needle, but once I did it, I was on a roll.  It was fun and the directions made it so easy.  

 After sewing YOU, I glued down the white shape to the card, and finished it off with one of the fun epoxy shapes from the kit.  There it is, my card, just like the kit showed.  

Then I thought I would try a few without sewing.  So I used scraps of Daffodil Delight card stock behind the white shape. You could put any color you want behind, but I thought the Daffodil Delight popped nicely.  I love the Petite Petals Punch and the small flower punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack, plus a few rhinestones for a little sparkle.  

These cards were fun to make.  I wonder what else I could do with this pack?

Flowers and Belly Band:
I made a belly band to wrap around the middle of the bag.  It's easy, just get a piece of card stock, this one was almost 2" wide by 8-1/2" long.  I wrapped it and did not measure my score marks, just folded the card stock so it wrapped around the bag.  I used some of the great Stampin'Up! lace on top of the Basic Black card stock and used Sticky Strip to hold it in place.  
The flowers were layered in Basic Black and Very Vanilla card stock using the flower punches.  I used Tombow Multipurpose Adhesive to glue the flowers together and Dimensionasl too.  Finished it with a pearl from the Jewels Pearls (there are 150 of them for only $4.95)
