Easy Shamrocks Tutorial

I made these fun and easy shamrocks using the Hearts Collection Framelits and Heart Punch from Stampin'Up!

 Shamrock Tutorial easy to make!
Garden Green card stock using a medium heart from the Hearts Collections Framelits and Pistachio Pudding card stock for the Heart punch, make 3 of each heart.
All supplies are from Stampin'Up! except the garden sticks.

  • Start with three hearts in each size
  • Use Mini Glue Dots to glue the larger green hearts together near the bottom point
  • Fold the light green hearts in half, then use Multipurpose Liquid Glue along the edge of the fold. Glue down in the center of each large green heart, put a Large Rhinestone in the middle
  • On the back use mini glue dots on the stick, I used two then glued to the paper and two on the other side to stick to the last heart
  • Stamp greeting on strip of Whisper White card sock, cut ends and glue one side onto the back of the clover using Multipurpose Liquid Glue
  • Punch a Garden Green heart using the Heart Punch, fold in half, then use Multipurpose Liquid Glue and place it over the stick to cover the stick and end of the Whisper White card stock

My friend Jessica is always finding cute ideas on Pinterest for art projects in kindergartner.   I loved one she was going to do using hearts to make 3 leaf clovers on a 9x12 sheet of construction paper.  I needed a fun decoration for some treat baskets at work, so I took her idea and came up with these.

Itty Bitty Banners stamp set, Garden Green, Pistachio Pudding and Whisper White card stock, Garden Green ink, Heart Punch, Jewels - Large Rhinestone, Big Shot, Hearts Collection Framelits, scissors, glue dots, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, garden/plant stick

Big Shot Ornament card

This was a card from my last holiday card class.  I got the idea from my friend Crista, love it!  I had some questions come up about how to make it, so here's a tutorial.  Let me know if you have any questions.

This card uses the Big Shot Magnetic Movers and Shapers with the Holiday Windows, and a Textured Impressions Embossing Folder-Vintage Wallpaper.
First sandwich the paper inside the embossing folder and run it through the Big Shot.
Next adhere it to the red card like so.
Start with the Big Shot Magnetic die in the lower right corner for the first ornament.
Place the card carefully on top of the die, be sure to fit the half sheet of card stock inside the die cut.
Run the die through the Big Shot, here, it will cut the ornament and score the paper.  If there is any paper hanging out beyond the die it will be cut off.
Move the die up and to the left, but so it still overlaps the other die opening.
You only need to run it through far enough to cut the ornament out.
When you are done it will look like this.
Next Stamp and punch out ornaments using the Delightful Decorations and Ornament Punch.
Add Jewels to the ornaments using the Basic Rhinestones, only $4.95 for 150 gems!
Here is the finished card.  Have fun!
Supplies:  Delightful Decorations stamp set, Real Red, Whisper White, Old Olive, Ornament Punch, Polka Dot Real Red Ribbon, Jewels-Basic Rhinestones, Big Shot Magnetic Movers and Shapers with the Holiday Windows, and a Textured Impressions Embossing Folder-Vintage Wallpaper

Here's Crista Bailey's card, thanks for the great idea.
