Valentine Treats with Scallop Tag Topper Punch

I love the new Scallop Tag Topper Punch in the Stampin'Up! Occasions catalog.  I was having fun with different treats, so easy to make.  After making some different sizes, with chocolate inside of course, I thought it would be fun to make a bunch of treats for friends at work.  Plus the Language of Love stamp set coordinates with the Heart, Small Heart, and Petite Pennants Punches.  

I used the Small Heart and Heart Punch on these projects.

The treats are easy to make, plus you can make them any length you want!  
Start with a width of just under 2" and use the Tag Topper Punch on both ends for the decoration (including the hole for ribbon). The punch is 2" wide so if you cut your card stock just under that it will fit into the punch easier. Some of the candy I used was 1" wide, the other was 1-1/4" wide, so I found the middle of my card stock, then measured to the right and left of center for my score marks to fold the card stock.

For the Cherry Cobbler treats I used card stock 8-1/2" x 2" and scored at 3-5/8" and 4-7/8" so the candy fit in perfectly.  Adjust your score marks depending on the candy.  I also used a glue dot to hold the candy in place so it does not fall out.

Supplies:  Language of Love stamp set, Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White card stock, Cherry Cobbler ink, Heart Punch, Cherry Cobbler 3/4" Chevron Ribbon, Bakers Twine, Glue Dots, Dimensionals

Lacy & Lovely Card

Here's a card using the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch from the Occasions Stampin'Up! catalog. This new punch makes it so easy to make tags and fun little gifts.  Cut the card stock to just under 2" wide to use the punch.  

To Make the Tag: Use the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, paper just under 2" wide, Core'dinations Early Espresso card stock, embossing folder, then punch the top with the new punch, use corner rounder for bottom edges of tag, sanding block to show the texture.

Spiral Flower and Scalloped Tag Card

Here's a card using a couple of new items from the Occasions Stampin'Up! catalog (Spiral Flower Die and Scalloped Tag Topper Punch), as well as the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder and Calypso Coral Ink Pad, on sale through today (Weekly Deal Jan. 14-20).  I just love this embossing folder, it's so versatile.

I used the new Scalloped Tag Topper Punch to make the tag, love this punch!!  Cut the width of your paper to just under 2" so it slides in easily and punch the top (only punch one layer at a time).

Tag: Core'dinations Early Espresso card stock, embossing folder, then punch the top with the new punch, used corner rounder for bottom edges, sanding block to show the texture. Used Decorative Label Punch for greeting and added Spiral Flower.

I don't think these photos do the card justice, love the dimension of the Spiral Flower on the tag.  I would not be able to mail this, but it would look so pretty as a tag on a present or card for a friend.  Enjoy.
