Card Class Fun

I realized I was behind in posting photos from the last few card classes. Here are the cards from my April card class, hope you enjoy!
I used some great products in the Occasions catalog and the catalogs end in just days!  May 31, 2017 is the last day you can order retiring products.  Some of the products shown are retiring and a few things are carrying on to the next catalog.  I CASEd some fun card ideas from other demonstrators and had fun stamping with friends at class.  Hope you can make it to a future class.

April card class with retiring and carry over products

Dragonfly Dreams and Watercolor Pencils

The Dragonfly Dreams stamp set and Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Dies will be in the new Stampin'UP! catalog, but the bundle price will be gone May 31.  Save 10% by ordering the bundle now--Dragonfly Dreams Photopolymer Bundle - $46.75
This card used Watercolor Paper with Watercolor Pencils (which will also be in the new Stampin'Up! catalog 2017-2018), and a Stampin' Spritzer to mist and spread the colors.

This beautiful card was CASEd from Pam Jorgensen, I found it on Pinterest!  I love looking at Pinterest for card ideas.  It's a wonderful source of creativity.  The So In Love stamp set (available in CLEAR or WOOD) and So Detailed Thinlits Dies are both on sale and on the retiring list, so they will be gone soon.  Get yours before May 31.

This fun card uses the Birthday Blast stamp set (CLEAR or WOOD) and Star Blast Edgelits Dies with Watermelon Wonder (retiring color), Real Red and Whisper White as well as Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper.

Here are the retiring stamps I used on the cards.

Graduation Blast Card

I needed some graduation cards this week!  There were so many graduations this week, and then the parties too. I thought the Birthday Blast Bundle was the perfect set to make fun cards to celebrate these wonderful young adults!
I cannot believe that the Birthday Blast stamp set and Star Blast Edgelits Dies are retiring!  The Stampin'Up! Occasions catalog ends May 31, supplies are limited, so order now before they are gone.

The Birthday Blast stamp set (on sale Price: $18.00 $14.40)and the Star Blast Edgelits Dies (on sale Price: $20.00 $14.00) can be purchased individually.  There is a bundle, saving 10%, but they are a better deal when you buy them separately because they are retiring.  These items are retiring May 31, and supplies are limited.

Card from January Card Class

Okay, I'm a little behind getting photos posted of my cards.  Here's the cards from my January card class.  I just love the Dragonfly Dreams Bundle in the Stampin'Up! Occasions catalog. I made this card for a card swap with other demonstrators and offered it at class.  I was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest.

The red and white card with butterfly was a spin off of another card swap I did, but instead of using the dragonfly bundle again, I used butterfly framelits (the small detailed butterfly is from Bold Butterfly Framelits and the solid butterfly is from Butterflies Thinlits, they work together so well!).  I love the saying from Sheltering Tree stamp set.  This card could be great for Valentine's day, or any day of the year.  Both butterflies were die cut in Whisper White, then I sponged the solid butterfly with Real Red and Pink Pirouette inks.  This card also features the Falling Petals Embossing Folder and Perpetual Birthday Calendar stamp set.
See my original Daffodil Delight Dragonfly card here.

See details on the Dragonfly Dreams Blushing Bride card here.

The black, silver and white card uses the Birthday Blast stamp set (available in wood or clear stamps).  I wanted an elegant look and thought silver embossing powder on Basic Black card stock would be great.
You can find the Birthday Blast stamp set on page 11 of the Occasions catalog, it coordinates with the Star Blast Edgelits Dies.  They are also available in a bundle in this catalog, save 10%! Wood $40.50 or Clear $34.00.
