Mary's Lighthearted Leaves Card Swap

Here's Mary Brennan's fun fall card from the demonstrator Holiday card swap, using products from the Stampin'Up! Holiday catalog.  Mary used the Lighthearted Leaves Photopolymer Stamp Set.

This stamp set is great for home decor projects and so much more.  Stamp and cut as many leaves as you want in colors you want for any season, they'll last for a long time. 

See the corner on the inside of the card.  It's from the Curvy Corner Trio Punch in the Holiday Stampin'Up! catalog.  The Curvy Corner Trio Punch is a quick and easy way to add interest and depth to your projects.  It's three punches in one.  It cuts two corner designs and a ribbon slide for tons of tag options.

Happy Scene and Hearth & Home card

Here's the last of the cards from my September card class--Fall Cards.  I offered a card I made for a Demonstrator Swap, but I made different samples for class so they could do a Halloween card or not.  Make it what you want and need, that's part of the fun of class.  Here's a few of the variations of the card they made, using the new bundle from the Stampin'Up! Holiday catalog, Happy Scenes stamp set with the Hearth and Home Thinlits Dies.

Owl Punch Cards

Yesterday I held my September Fall Card Class and yesterday I shared a card my friend Melissa Walker made at class.  Today I'm sharing one of the samples from class.  

We used the Owl Builder Punch  to make fun owls and other creatures like the ones on these cards.  

The Owl Builder Punch is great for making owls and for making other shapes and creatures too.  Turn the owl body upside-down to make a ghost or alien.  

To make the pumpkin, I used the 1" Circle Punch.  Punch 3 circles, stamp and sponge with ink to give it texture, then glue together.  A little piece of green for the stem and for the little leaves, one of the dies from the Pillow Box Dies.  

Supplies include Happy Scenes Stamp set, Perfect Pennants stamp set,  Hardwood stamp, Owl Builder Punch, 1-3/4" & 1-3/8" and 1" Circle punches, Chocolate Chip and Pumpkin Pie Classic Inks

Lovely as a Tree Card

Here's card 3 from my card class.  I came across a card I did a few years ago with the Lovely as a Tree stamp set, and then I saw something similar on Julie's blog.  Between the 2 cards I realized I could redo this card and add some leaves for falls.  But this would also make a great Christmas card.  Just change the greeting, and maybe add a little glitter!  Just an idea.

Here's a fun card for Fall that we will be making at my card class tomorrow.  I was playing with things from the Stampin'Up! Holiday catalog, and some fall colors.  This is what I came up with.

Here are some quick photos to show how it all goes together for this card.  

 First it's easy to make pumpkins!  You just need a circle or oval punch, use 3 punches, sponge the edges and put together.

 Burlap Ribbon is so fun!  For this card I cut 4" and then trimmed off the bottom edge stitching.  Take out some of the fringe edges, and save them for another fall project. Then use some sticky strip to adhere it to the card.

 Stamp in Crushed Curry and then use the Sponge Dauber with Pumpkin Pie for 2 colors on the splatter.

 Stamp the spatter image 3 times without re-ink, each stamp should be lighter. Stamp off the Early Espresso image before stamping it a couple of times on the card stock.

Stamp your greeting, then use the punch to line up inside and punch.  Sponge edges with Crushed Curry ink.

 Here are all your pieces for the card!

Here's the final project, come to the card class to make 2 of these cards, and 4 other cards too.  6 cards total, 3 different designs.
