Birthday Blossoms Card Swap Pocket Card

Here's a fun card swap from my friend Crista Bailey. the Stampin'Up! catalog.  I realized that I never shared this card back in the summer when we did our card swap for the 2015-2016 Stampin'Up! Annual Catalog.  I think there might be a couple more cards from that swap to share too!  So coming soon... more swap cards this week and next week!  

There are so many great products from the Stampin'Up! Annual Catalog.  Sometimes I get so excited about the Holiday catalog and Occasions catalog that I forget about all the great products in the annual catalog:(  This card is a great reminder of what the Stampin'Up! Annual catalog has to offer.

Crista's pocket card has a slide out panel for a note or you could even attach a gift card to it.  This card is so versatile, I love it.

For the greeting she used Birthday Blossoms stamp set (available in Wood or Clear Mount stamps), and the large flower stamp coordinates with the Pansy Punch!  

Other supplies include Whisper White and Tip Top Taupe card stock, 2015-2017 In Color Envelope Paper (on sale through Monday on the Weekly Deals for Jan. 12-18), 1" Dotted Lace Trim in Watermelon Wonder, and Pearls.  Inks:  Tip Top Taupe, Mint Macaron, and Watermelon Wonder.  

For the tag Crista used the Note Tag Punch and for the insert I think the Envelope Liners Framelits would work well with the Big Shot. Or you could cut and measure 2 rectangles, then trim in at an angle and use a Corner Rounder Punch for the top corners.

Punch Art Halloween Card

I love how this Halloween card turned out and cannot wait to make more.  I used Halloween stamps from the last Paper Pumpkin Kit (Boo-tiful Bags from September), the ghost is from FALL FEST stamp set, page 46 in the Stampin'Up! Holiday catalog and some Stampin'Up! punches.    

I kept the inside simple by using some of the stamps from the Paper Pumpkin kit.

Here's a supply list:
Fall Fest stamp set, Paper Pumpkin Kit Boo-Tiful Bags stamps, Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry, Mossy Meadow, Night of Navy, Basic Gray, Basic Black and Whisper White card stock, Smoky Slate, Pumpkin Pie and Basic Gray inks, Memento Ink Pad, Big Shot, Fun Fall Framelits Dies, 1-1/4" & 1-3/4" Circle Punches, Note Tag Punch, Stampin' Sponge, Snail Adhesive, Dimensionals.

How was it made?  
Pumpkin Pie Card: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" score and fold in half
Basic Black: 5-1/4" x 4"
Night of Navy: 5" x 3-3/4"
Mossy Meadow: 5" wide, tear sections to make hills on card and adhere to 5" wide Night of Navy card stock.
Make your pumpkin using 3 circles, sponge edges and then glue together over lapping the circle. Finish with a stem and dimensionals.  The photo below shows oval punches.

Stamp off Smoky Slate ghost before stamping on Whisper White card stock, then use the Fun Fall Framelit with the Big Shot.
The Moon is 1-3/4" Circle Punch using Crushed Curry card stock.
Grave stones are Basic Gray with Note Tag Punch, then sponge edges with Basic Gray ink.
Stamped bats and small tree with Memento Ink.

Here's a fun card for Fall that we will be making at my card class tomorrow.  I was playing with things from the Stampin'Up! Holiday catalog, and some fall colors.  This is what I came up with.

Here are some quick photos to show how it all goes together for this card.  

 First it's easy to make pumpkins!  You just need a circle or oval punch, use 3 punches, sponge the edges and put together.

 Burlap Ribbon is so fun!  For this card I cut 4" and then trimmed off the bottom edge stitching.  Take out some of the fringe edges, and save them for another fall project. Then use some sticky strip to adhere it to the card.

 Stamp in Crushed Curry and then use the Sponge Dauber with Pumpkin Pie for 2 colors on the splatter.

 Stamp the spatter image 3 times without re-ink, each stamp should be lighter. Stamp off the Early Espresso image before stamping it a couple of times on the card stock.

Stamp your greeting, then use the punch to line up inside and punch.  Sponge edges with Crushed Curry ink.

 Here are all your pieces for the card!

Here's the final project, come to the card class to make 2 of these cards, and 4 other cards too.  6 cards total, 3 different designs.
