Gently Falling Weave card

Here's a great card swap from Jan Myers.  This was a great swaps from our demonstrator swap we did at the end of August.  Did you notice the weaving she did with the Designer Series Paper?  Wow!  I just love the big button too.

We all did one card idea using items from the Holiday Mini catalog, and swapped.  It's a great way to share ideas.  As much as I love ALL the products, I can't afford to buy it all, so this way we all have great samples to share.

 Even the inside is pretty.
Jan used Watercolor Crayons to make this great leaf.
What kind of Holiday ideas do you have?  If you are looking for ideas, contact me, I would love to help.

Gently Falling

After doing a card back in August with the Strength and Hope set that I CASEd from someone, I thought I would do something similar with the Gently Falling stamp set.  I like how it turned out.

Very Vanilla and River Rock card stock, with River Rock and More Than Mustard inks.  Don't think I have ever used that combination before, but like how it turned out.

Gently Falling

I went to Tara's group meeting today, so much fun!  I was asked to do a Make-n-take for the group, and here is the card.  I used Gently Falling and Hand-Penned Holidays, both stamp sets are from the Holiday Mini catalog.  Love that mini catalog!
Tara's group meetings are for demonstrators, join my team this month and you can get a FREE Big Shot when you sign up, or $100 in Stampin'Up! product, and then we can go to these fun meeting together!  Contact me for more details.
The technique I used on this card was Rock-and-Roll.  I used 3 colors for the rock and roll to get the colors of the changing leaves.
Supplies:  Gently Falling and Hand-Penned Holidays stamp sets
Card stock:  Very Vanilla and Peach Parfait
Inks:  Daffodil Delight, Peach Parfait, Cherry Cobbler, and Early Espresso Classic
Accessories:  Lace Ribbon Border Punch, Stampin' Sponges, Paper Snips, Dimensionals

Fall Leaf Cards

Here's more photos from the other two cards at my Fall Card Class last week.  First is the Gently Falling card, using supplies from the Holiday Mini catalog.  This was the card I did for a demonstrator swap with friends a few weeks ago.  So much fun getting together to share ideas!
Gently Falling stamp set, Soft Suede, More Than Mustard, Peach Parfait, Very Vanilla, Spice Cake Designer Series Paper, Linen Thread, Stampin' Clear Emboss Powder, Stampin' Sponges, Sponge Daubers, Color Sprizter, Dimensionals.
I did an emboss resist technique with this card, and lots of sponging!  I think the sponging really gives it a certain richness.  Love all the texture it gives it too.  Hint:  After embossing, rub hard in small circles with the sponge to give it a smoother look.  Use sponge daubers inside the leaves to really make them pop!
Here's a great card I CASEd from my friend Mel.  I love the simple elegance of this card.
French Foliage and Word Play stamp sets, River Rock, Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Cajan Craze, Antique Brad, Taffeta Ribbon, dimensionals.
