Stampin'Up! Star and Sassy Salutations Card Ideas

While posting the card for my mom's birthday (on the 4th of July!)  I saw some really cute cards from Stampin'Up! using the Star Framelites and Sassy Saluations.  I think making cards like this will be in my future, I love CASEing cards (copy and share everything).  I love the Star Framelit Dies and Sassy Salutations stamp set, so I wanted to share these cute ideas with you.  Just imagine all the fun you can have with these products!

The Star Framelit Dies coordinate with a number of other Stampin'Up! products or work well on their own.  With 5 dies you get your choice of stars for your projects. It's been one of my favorites lately, perfect for graduation cards, decorating gift bags, birthdays and more.

The Sassy Salutations stamp set has 6 great greetings in a font that goes hand in hand with fun cards.  Sassy Salutations is available in WOOD or CLEAR. 

I love how the designers at Stampin'Up! used the Butterflies Thinlits Dies with the card above. (TIP: when using intricate thinlits dies, use wax paper between the card stock and the die when running it through the Big Shot.)

Happy 4th of July!

My mom's birthday is on the 4th of July, so I'm always looking for fun ideas for her birthday card.  This year I wanted stars and, of course, red, white and blue.  I thought big sparkling silver stars would be great, and kept to the whole red, white and blue theme.  It's all Stampin'Up! products too.

The Star Framelits have been one of my favorites lately. So many fun things to do with stars (like graduation cards, decorate gift bags and this card). I used the Star Framelit Dies for the larger stars.

Holiday Cards from Melissa

I love making holiday cards, and receiving holiday cards.  My friend Melissa made some beautiful cards this year and here are 3 of them.  

The Snowflake Card Thinlits Dies and the  Big Shot are perfect for making pretty cards.  And I love the way she made this card.  She even used the cut out from the snowflake as a stencil on the envelope.  

These 2 cards used the Bright & Beautiful Stamp Set (available in clear or wood stamps) from the Stampin'Up! Holiday Catalog. They coordinate perfectly with the Stars Framelits Dies and Big Shot and make such pretty cards.  I love the gold emboss on these cards and the layers of stars.  Everything really pops!
