Scallop Tag Topper Punch Tags

Sometimes I want a cute tag when I am giving things to customers.  Here are some tags I mage to put on treats.  One of the nice things about this tag is it also works on a card front.

 The Scallop Tag Topper Punch makes pretty tags, quick and easy.  

 The tags work well on a card front too. The card has a textured background using the Polka Dot Texture Embossing Folder.  The tag was popped up with dimensional.

Happy 4th of July!

My mom's birthday is on the 4th of July, so I'm always looking for fun ideas for her birthday card.  This year I wanted stars and, of course, red, white and blue.  I thought big sparkling silver stars would be great, and kept to the whole red, white and blue theme.  It's all Stampin'Up! products too.

The Star Framelits have been one of my favorites lately. So many fun things to do with stars (like graduation cards, decorate gift bags and this card). I used the Star Framelit Dies for the larger stars.

My March Paper Pumpkin Kit 2015

I was so excited when my March Paper Pumpkin kit arrived!  But… March was crazy for us.  Our family was getting ready for a trip to Florida for Spring Break, plus getting blog posts done ahead, and making sure I had customers taken care of for Sale-a-Bration too.  So I had to wait until we got back to make some fun cards.

I saw photos of other peoples projects online, but it's not the same.  It's so much more fun to craft than to just look at pictures.  All though I do love looking at ideas on Pinterest.com.  You can see all my Pinterest pins on my Paper Pumpkin Board too.  I am always looking for fun and different ideas for Paper Pumpkin kits.

Here's the kit, look at all the stuff it comes with!  Makes 9 cards, and I love the Daffodil Delight Baker's Twine.  I stamped a few of the white bubble looking pieces first before sewing.

I have not done sewing like this since I was a kid.  I was not too sure if I wanted to sew my letters, but then again, I had to try.  The kit comes with a needle too!  

 It's been so long since I used a needle and thread I admit it took a while to thread my needle, but once I did it, I was on a roll.  It was fun and the directions made it so easy.  

 After sewing YOU, I glued down the white shape to the card, and finished it off with one of the fun epoxy shapes from the kit.  There it is, my card, just like the kit showed.  

Then I thought I would try a few without sewing.  So I used scraps of Daffodil Delight card stock behind the white shape. You could put any color you want behind, but I thought the Daffodil Delight popped nicely.  I love the Petite Petals Punch and the small flower punch from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack, plus a few rhinestones for a little sparkle.  

These cards were fun to make.  I wonder what else I could do with this pack?

Card Swap and Treats from Stampin'Up! Leadership

Here's a couple of ideas to share from my trip to the Stampin'Up! Leadership Conference in January.  Orlando was a lot nicer than Denver is right now!  I'm looking at lots of white snow right now, a good day to craft and stay warm inside.  

These sweet treats were inspired from a card my friend Jan Myers made for a demonstrator swap using supplies from the Stampin'Up! Occasions catalog.  See products from the Occasions Catalog HERE.

I loved the colors Jan used so I decided to copy her colors and the flower punch for my little treats.  Each one has a Hershey's nugget of chocolate in it.  

I used the Ornate Tag Topper Punch, Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack, Old Olive 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Pearls, and card stocks: Bermuda Breeze, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Melon Mambo.

The Tag Topper Punches are perfect for making treats like this.  Card stock is just under 2" wide, and you can make any length for your treats you want.  I used 2" x 4-1/4", scored at 1-5/8" and 2-5/8", so your score marks are 1" apart.  The nuggets fit perfectly in that.  I used a mini glue dot to keep the treat in place, and tied the top with the ribbon.  You can see the punch makes the decorative top and hole for ribbon at the same time.  

You can make your treats longer, to stack more nuggets on top of each other or use other treats in the pouch.

Big On You Bermuda Bay Card

Here's a great card from my friend Jan.  She used one of the beautiful stamps out of the Big On You Photopolymer stamp set, in the Stampin'Up! Occasions catalog.  This is just one of the great stamp sets in that catalog. See a photo of all the cards later in this post.

This card was part of a demonstrator swap I did with friends. Some cards were CASEd (Copy and Share Everything) and some were original ideas.  Either way, we all love stamping and sharing ideas with others.  If you want to learn more about being a demonstrator and having fun crafting with us let me know.  I would love to share all the fun details with you, click here to learn more about being a demonstrator and join my group.

This card also inspired me to make some sweet treats for friends.  I'll be sharing that post and more this week to show some of the fun last week when I attended the Stampin'Up! Leadership in Orlando, FL.  I loved going to this event.  Imagine spending a few days with hundreds of your closest friends. I love going to these events, it's great to make new friends from all over the country and world and reconnect with friends you've seen in the past.
