Layering Love Card Swap

I have to share this fun card idea from my friend Glenda Timkovich.  While this wash tape is no longer available I just loved the idea.  She used the retiring stamp set Layering Love (available in CLEAR and WOOD), only available until May 31, or while supplies last.

Glenda used the different patterns of tape across a piece of Whisper White card stock creating a fun background.  You could do this with any set of washing tape.

This card features one of the the retiring colors, Sweet Sugarplum.  I'll miss this color, in looking through my samples and some of my ideas, I seem to use this color a lot.

Easy Scallop Tap Topper Treats

My friend Jan made some fun treats at the Stamp Camp in March and it reminded me how much I enjoy making these sweet little treats.  I've made so many different versions of these treats.  I made these treats to thank co-workers for helping with an event I did recently.  

Easy Treat Holders using the Scallop Tag Topper Punch

I used the Petal Passion Designer Series Paper in the Occasions catalog for these treats with the Label Me Pretty stamp set (in Wood or Clear).

This treat holder really is so easy to make!  Use the Scallop Tag Topper Punch with paper that is just under 2 inches wide.  Score 2 score marks 1 inch apart in the middle and punch both ends.  There are many candies and chocolates that will fit in the 1 inch area.   Then tie it closed with a pretty ribbon.  

HINT:  Use a glue dot to hold the candy in place.   

I used the 1-1/4" Circle Punch with the saying, and the Layering Circle Framelits Dies for the Basic Black and Sugarplum circles.

The treats are tied off with ribbon and bakers twine at the top.  These treats are so easy to put together, you should try some.

Easy Treat Holders

Here's some fun and easy treats I made with fun Designer Paper and the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch. I used one of the Sale-A-Bration (SAB) products you can get for FREE when you spend $50.  Designer Tee stamp set is a fun set full of sweet sayings, and you can get for FREE!  Just imagine all the fun you can have making these for friends.  They are quick and easy!

I've listed my supplies below, but imagine the possibilities with this Scalloped Tag Topper Punch and your supplies on hand.  I love my Stampin' Trimmer it cuts and scores and is great for travel too. 

• Use strips of paper, just under 2" wide, any length you want. 
• Find your center point and score 1/2" in both directions so you have a 1" space between score marks.  
• Use the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch on both ends (it has a nice hole punched in it for ribbon and twine).
• Use ribbon or twine to close the top.
• Decorate the front (and the back too if you want).

Sometimes I want a cute tag when I am giving things to customers.  Here are some tags I mage to put on treats.  One of the nice things about this tag is it also works on a card front.

 The Scallop Tag Topper Punch makes pretty tags, quick and easy.

It's a Card Party!

Monday night I had a Stampin'Up! Card Party at Courtney's house.  The she and her friends had fun making cards, I brought all the supplies.  Do you want to do a card party?  Contact me to set yours up!  Here are all the cards they made.

Everyone made 2 of each design, I had 3 samples of this one for all 3 cute sayings.  
The Scallop Tag Topper Punch is so easy to use and works so well on this, I added the corner rounder to make the tags look even cuter.  Plus the In Color 2012-2014 markers work so well together for coloring.  I love the Large Polka Dot Embossing Folder, it works so well on so many different projects.  

I made a card similar to this one at Tara's July Shoebox swap, thank you Angela Zaba for the cute idea.  I loved the color on this, it's ALL Costal Cabana.  Ink your stamp up then stamp it 3 different times without re-inking to get the faded effect.

 Love the butterflies on this card, the Papillon Potpourri works so well with both of the coordinating butterfly punches.  Be sure to stamp your greeting first, then run the Strawberry Slush card stock through the Big Shot with the Fancy Fan Embossing Folder.  

I love the new Corner Garden stamp set in the Stampin'Up! annual catalog.  It's a great background stamp that you can do so much with.  Available in Clear $13.95, or Wood $17.95. This fun idea also came from the last Shoebox Swap at Tara's, thanks Andrea Van Sambeck.
