My favorite item on sale this week is the Ornate Tag Topper Punch!  I love all the Tag Topper Punches (Ornate, Scalloped, and Angled--the angled punch is on clearance right now!!) because they make it a snap to make quick treats, tags and bookmarks. It's so easy to add a little accent to any project when you use these punches.  

Just take a strip of paper, any length, find your center and then score 1/2" to either side of center (gives you a 1" space), add a piece of candy or chocolate and fold up the sides.  The punch even puts a hole for your ribbon or twine to tie your treat closed.  The Bermuda Bay Baker's Twine is on sale this week too-only $2.25 for 25 yards!

The Ornate Tag Topper Punch is a quick and easy way to add interest and depth to your projects.  Use this punch to make your own tag toppers, bookmarks, bellybands, and easy treat holders.  Insert a 2" strip of cardstock (any length), and punch.  

For best results: use a strip that is just under 2" in width.

Amazing Birthday Wood-Mount Stamp Set

Ornate Tag Topper Punch Treats

Sometimes I just need some sweet treats to give to friends.  Here are some I made a few weeks ago.  I used the Ornate Tag Topper Punch to make these easy treats.  

This punch is on sale through Monday, July 13 at 30% off!

To make these treats use card stock that is just under 2" wide, any length you want.  The candy I used is 1" wide, so I found the middle and scored 1/2" to each side of middle. 

They are fun and easy to make.

Here's the products I used to make these sweet treats.

Ornate Tag Topper Punch

Create your own tag toppers, bookmarks, bellybands and more.  Insert a 2" stripe of card stock (any length) and punch.

To make the Flowers:
I used 2 sizes of punched flowers and layered them together Pansy Punch and Petite Petals Punch, but you could use any flower punches to make flowers like these.  
Use a bone folder to distress the card stock, brake down the fibers by using the the bone folder to curl the petals and crumple up the paper.  
Keep working with the card stock until you can see the edges separating so you can peel them apart.
Then glue the 2 punched flowers together, I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Adhere the flower with a Dimensional.

The Pansy Punch and Petite Petals Punch both coordinate with stamps in the catalog too.  Imagine all the fun you can have making projects with these punches.

Card Swap and Treats from Stampin'Up! Leadership

Here's a couple of ideas to share from my trip to the Stampin'Up! Leadership Conference in January.  Orlando was a lot nicer than Denver is right now!  I'm looking at lots of white snow right now, a good day to craft and stay warm inside.  

These sweet treats were inspired from a card my friend Jan Myers made for a demonstrator swap using supplies from the Stampin'Up! Occasions catalog.  See products from the Occasions Catalog HERE.

I loved the colors Jan used so I decided to copy her colors and the flower punch for my little treats.  Each one has a Hershey's nugget of chocolate in it.  

I used the Ornate Tag Topper Punch, Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack, Old Olive 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Pearls, and card stocks: Bermuda Breeze, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Melon Mambo.

The Tag Topper Punches are perfect for making treats like this.  Card stock is just under 2" wide, and you can make any length for your treats you want.  I used 2" x 4-1/4", scored at 1-5/8" and 2-5/8", so your score marks are 1" apart.  The nuggets fit perfectly in that.  I used a mini glue dot to keep the treat in place, and tied the top with the ribbon.  You can see the punch makes the decorative top and hole for ribbon at the same time.  

You can make your treats longer, to stack more nuggets on top of each other or use other treats in the pouch.

Here's the cards I made for swaps at Leadership.  I love the Painted Petals stamp set, it's so versatile.  Did you know it is available in Wood, Clear or Photopolymer stamps!   I wanted some clean and easy Thank You cards.  

Supplies used:  Painted Petals stamp set, card stock: Whisper White, Bermuda Bay and Pacific Point, ink: Bermuda Bay, Pacific Point and Old Olive, Big Shot, Polka Dot Embossing Folder, 2-1/2" Circle Punch, Painted Blooms Cotton Twine, Dimensionals
