Balloon Bouquet Punch Birthday Card

I love birthday cards and I don't think I ever have enough on hand.  This is one of the cards from my last card class.  I made something like this a few years ago.  But now with the new Balloon Bouquet Punch it's so much easier!

The Balloon Bouquet Punch punches out 2 balloons at the same time, a small and large one.  It's quick and easy to use and a great way to add a little extra something to lots of projects, plus there are stamp sets that coordinate with this punch.

SUPPLIES: Sassy Salutations stamp set, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Garden Green, Marina Mist, Elegant Eggplant and Whisper White card stock, Real Red ink, Balloon Bouquet Punch, Big Shot with Polka Dot Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Black and White Baker's Twine, Dimensionals and Snail Adhesive.

I made a few cards, some with the Polka Dot Embossing Folder and some without.  When using the embossing folder I moved the paper down so that the bottom of the card was still smooth for stamping a greeting.

We made this card at my last card class, because everyone needs birthday cards. But what's special about this stamp set is that it works for different themes.

For the inside of the card I used one of the stamps from my last Paper Pumpkin kit.  I stamped it 3 times without re-inking in between so the words fade.

Birthday Candles Card

I love looking at Pinterest!  I saw some great ideas for birthday candles, but this idea really stood out for me.  Designer Series Paper rolled up, and add Baker's Twine makes a great candle.  Though my husband wanted to know if they pop when you light them, huh no!   
Make fun birthday cards at my card class this weekend (Saturday, March 15).  Contact me to attend here in Lakewood, CO, or get a card pack to go and do your own stamping.  

The candles are really easy to make, use a square of Designer Series Paper, 2" x 2", roll it up and use sticky strip on the edge to hold it in place.  Then a dab of Multipurpose Liquid Glue with Baker's Twine stuck inside of the roll to look like a candle.

Kids Cards
