White Christmas Framed Art Project

When I first saw the new Stampin'Up! annual catalog for 2015-2016 I was so excite to see one of my favorite stamp sets from the last Holiday catalog, White Christmas.  

Here is a project I made last December for a fun handcrafted gift exchange.  I had so much fun making this hand stamped decoration and then put the final product in a frame.  
The White Christmas Photopolymer Stamp Set has so many fun images in this set.  It makes me want to start Christmas cards now.  

Here's a view of the center part, it's a 5" x 7" piece of Whisper White card stock, and I used the Oval Collection Framelits Dies for the window and the Lucky Stars Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

For the border, Confetti Stars Punch.  This punch is so easy to use with so many different uses and if you need teeny stars, well here you go!

Ornamental Pine Cards

Here's one of the cards from my card class on November. There is so much you can do with the Ornamental Pines stamp set from Stampin'Up!  

I made 2 variations of the card, it's the little differences I like some times.  On both cards I sponged the edges with my Stamping Sponges, and used my 2-way glue with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.  

 With this card I used the pine cone.

The Ornamental Pines stamp set is on page 27 of the Stampin'Up! Holiday catalog, available in wood mount (135104 $25.95) or clear mount (135107 $18.95).  

 Here's another variation of the card, no pine cones, but I stamped the card and piece of card stock at the same time.  Then used a piece of Early Espresso in between. 

On both cards sponged the edges and used Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.  Though the glitter does not show up well in the photos.

Crumb Cake Tags

I fell in love with some tags I saw while surfing Pinterest and Splitcoaststampers.com. I cannot remember where I saw them but it was a group of 4 different tags, and one of them was just like my second photo.  I wish I could remember who I copied this from, if I find it again I will add to my post.

This was the tag I copied from another person, loved the idea.  Just changed the button she used to the flower punches and sponged ink on the edges of the flowers and distressed.

Gift Exchange beauties

Here's a few more of the gifts from the Holiday Gift Exchange last weekend.  You already saw my project, and Gina's.  These pretties were done by other people in our group.  Some items may have been cased, but they are all fabulous!

Glenda's tree was wonderful!  This was the first one I picked, but I didnt get to keep it.

This was the second gift I opened, I could not resist this awesome box!  So beautiful, the photos just do not do it justice.  Janet Weisheit made this wonderful box.

Inside she had a beautiful card and a cute gift pouch with M&M's and a gift card.  So sweet!  I didn't get to keep this one either.

Carn made this sweet tree.  Not as fancy as the one she made last year, this could be the travel version.

Crista made this sweet gift.  Loved how she used the Perfect Pennants die for the tree, then layered strips of paper onto the tree.

Gift Exchange gift

This was the gift I brought for the Holiday group get together last weekend. We were supposed to bring a handmade gift $8-10.  I had other ideas, but they took too much time, so I went with something lots of people like, coffee and chocolate.

I used one of the Kraft boxes, stamped it with VersaMark and used Clear Emboss.  There's a Starbucks gift card in it too!  I used the Two Tags Die and wrapped a piece of card stock around the tag.  The Snow Flurry Die makes great snowflakes.  I love the layers in these snowflakes.

 You could take off the snowflake and hang it up to enjoy for the whole season.

Christmas Tree made of Kisses

Look at this awesome tree made out of chocolate kisses!  Carn Meagher made this last year for our group holiday gift exchange.  This is what I got to take home and I love it!  It was so creative and fun. 

She used Big Shot Scallop Circle dies and Scallop Circle Punches to put this together out of card stock.  Yes, it's all card stock, can you believe it!  

I am going to our group holiday event again this year.  I cannot wait to see what I get, I am also excited to see what I bring.  Nope, I have not started on my project yet.  Can't wait to share what I come up with!

Fun Holiday Kits

Last weekend I went to Tara's demonstrator group meeting.  I was so excited to go to the meeting to see friends, "oh" and "ah" at fun stamping samples and have a great time.
