Choose Happiness Card

Here's a card I made last year using the stamp set Choose Happiness. I thought it was a good card for Fall, and Fall is coming next month.
The Choose Happiness stamp set is available in wood or clear.
I got the idea from Shelli Gardner when she stamped a card like this on stage at Convention.  I liked her card so much, I ordered the stamp set.
Supplies:
Choose Happiness stamp set, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry card stock, Early Espresso and Cajun Craze inks, Big Shot, Woodgrain Embossing Folder, retired Framelit Labels Collection, Bird Builder Punch, Dimensionals
Choose Happiness stamp set wood or clear

Cased pretty flowers cards

I loved a card I saw from Leeann Greff not too long ago.  Love all the punched flowers!  I used the Boho Blossom Punch and one of the punches from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack.

Here's both of the cards I made, the one on the left is similar to the colors Leeann used, then I thought it would look good in the Coastal Cabana too.

The Weekly Deals from Stampin'Up! (April 8-14) has one of my favorite punches in it.  It's one of the punches from the Punch Pack, I use this punch all the time, it works perfect to put a pearl or rhinestone in the middle.   Shop online anytime through my stampinup store HERE. Plus the Cantaloupe Crisp card has the leaves from the Secret Gardens Framelits, on sale through tomorrow too.

Here are the punches I used, Boho Blossom and one of the punches from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack.
I also used the Bird Builder Punch for the leaves in the Coastal Cabana card.  Colors for this card are Coastal Cabana, Pool Party, Bermuda Bay, Gumball Green, Whisper White.
Use your fingers or a bone folder to curl the edges of the flowers then use the Tombow Multipurpose Glue to glue all the different flowers together.  Place a pearl in the middle of the flower, and a dimensional on the back to adhere to the card.  Place leaves around and under the flowers.

Use the Woodgrain Textured Embossing Folder with the Big Shot, and some of the beautiful 3/8" Ruffle Stretch Trim with Sticky Strip on the back to hold the ribbon in place.
Colors for this card are Crisp Cantaloupe  Calypso Coral, So Saffron, Pistachio Pudding, Whisper White.

Embossed Leaf Card

Here's a beautiful card, using heat embossing and resist.  My friend Gina made a wonderful card for our swap at the Stampin'Up! Denver Regional in September.  I just had to copy it for my Fall card class.
I used VersaMark and Clear Embossing Powder for the leaf.  Used my heat gun and after it was cool I stamped with En Francais in Crumb Cake.  Then I used a Stampin' Sponge to gently color around the leaf (soft circular motion with the sponge so it looks smooth, not patterned).  It really makes the leaf pop!
To see the other cards we made at my Fall Card Class click HERE.

Gina's card used the Crumb Cake Tulle Ribbon and Antique Brads.  I used the Crochet Trim Ribbon and on some the Antique Brads, on others I used Gold card stock with Black Embossing Powder, this way you can mail them with no extra expense.

Supplies:  Gently Falling and En Francais stamp sets, Core'dinations Card stock - Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, Early Espresso and Crumb Cake card stock, , Big Shot, Textured Impressions Embossing Folder - Woodgrain, Sanding Block, 5/8" Crochet Trim, Antique Brads (or Gold card stock with Black Embossing powder and 3/4" Circle punch), Dimensionals.
