Happy Birthday Gorgeous CASEd card swap

Here's a beautiful card that my friend Glenda CASEd from one of the Stampin'Up! Artisan team members last summer.  I can't believe I forgot to share this card earlier.  It's so beautiful.

I do not remember which Stampin'Up! Artisan member this came from, I really wish I did.
Glenda used the Happy Birthday Gorgeous photopolymer stamp set with Watercolor Paper and an Aqua Painter.  She fussy cut the flowers, added some Glitter Enamel Dots and Gold Metallic Thread for accents, as well as the Gold Glimmer Paper with die cut leaves.

Card Class Projects for August 2015

Yesterday's card class had different 3 cards.  Here are two of the cards from class.  I got this first idea from my friend Wanda, who got the idea from Brian King.  I love seeing other demonstrator's ideas and copying them is a form of flattery.  There are so many great card ideas out there.  Sometimes I create my own and other times, I CASE (Copy And Share Everything).
This card features a couple new products in the Stampin'Up! catalog, including the Banner Triple Punch and the Brick Wall Embossing Folder. I love the brick texture and see so many possibilities with it.  This card used the Banner Triple Punch not centered, but off set.
August Card Class 2015
Class included the swap I made for convention last month, a great masculine card, and the May Paper Pumpkin kit.  Everyone made 6 cards (2 of each), plus a gift bag from the May kit.

Supplies:  Early Espresso, Marina Mist, and Sahara Sand card stock, VersaMark ink and embossing powder, heat tool, Big ShotBrick Wall Embossing FolderBanner Triple Punch, Dimensionals.
You can also use gold and silver inks with the embossing powders.
Wanda's card from the June Shoebox Swap

This is the card I made to swap with other demonstrators at the Stampin'Up! Convention last month.  I loved using the Aqua Painter to color.  It's a fast way to get a watercolor look.  As an accent to give the flower some sparkle I colored the flower stamen with a Blackberry Bliss Stampin' Marker and then used 2-way glue with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.  The sparkle doesn't photograph well, but it looks beautiful to see it in person.

The Stamp set is Best Thoughts, it's one of the exclusive hostess stamps you can get when you host a qualifying workshop with sales of $150 or more.  Or you can place an order of $150 or more to earn this stamp set as part of your hostess Stampin' Rewards.
Supplies: Best Thoughts stamp set (hostess stamp set), Blackberry Bliss, Marina Mist and Whisper White card stock, Aqua Painter with Marina Mist, Wisteria Wonder and Pear Pizzazz inks, 2-way glue, Blackberry Bliss Stampin' Marker, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, Boho Chic Embossing FolderBig Shot, Dimensionals.

My swap is on the left, see more about it on my post on July 24, HERE.

Swallowtail card

I love the Swallowtail stamp!  I made this card for my husbands birthday last month.  I really love using embossing powder and creating a watercolor look with the Aqua Painter. You can find this stamp (page 18) and more great products in the Stampin'Up! Spring mini catalog.
You can make this card at my card class on March 15!  Contact me to attend.
Plus I am offering a bundle for March.  Pre-order your bundle by March 8, and save $6.  Attend the class March 15 and get more for free too!   Contact me for more information.
I used VersaMark on the Swallowtail stamp, then Early Espresso Embossing Powder, heat set and color using the Aqua Painter and Classic Inks.

For the inside I stamped the Swallowtail in Tangerine Tango, stamped off first to make it lighter.  I had some left over cards from my Movers and Shapers Curly Label die and Big Shot so I thought it would be fun to put a note in the label on the inside of the card.  I used the Ciao, Baby stamp set (page 16) from the Spring mini and when I ordered $50 in product I got the Petite Curly Label Punch FREE!

Swallowtail and Word Play (front), Friendly Phrases and Ciao, Baby (inside) stamp sets, Tangerine Tango, Early Espresso and Very Vanilla card stocks, Tangerine Tango, Early Espresso and Daffodil Delight Classic inks, VersaMark, Early Espresso Embossing Powder, Aqua Painter, Big Shot (with retired Movers and Shapers Curly Label die), Petite Curly Label Punch (FREE during SAB)
