Black & White Hearts card

Here is a from my class on Saturday.  I love how the black and white hearts card turned out!  I tried some different cards, and played with different embossing folders too.  Turned it portrait and landscape, but this was my favorite!  So simple and clean.  All 3 cards feature products from the Stampin'Up! Occasions catalog.

The Sweetheart Punch punch is on sale right now as part of the WEEKLY DEALS (ends Feb. 9), for only $11.96, normally $15.95.  The card also uses the Hello Life Photopolymer Stamp set, Stacked with Love DSP Stack, Happy HeartTextured Impressions Embossing Folder, Big Shot, Real Red ink, Whisper White card stock, Basic Black card stock, Rhinestones and Blendabilities Cherry Cobbler.

Tip:  to color the rhinestones, use your Blendabilities marker on the sheet of rhinestones, wait a minute and take the rhinestone off the sheet and add to your project.  Works great and you do not have to worry about accidentally coloring part of your paper.

You're Sweet card

Here's a great card from my friend Cindy, perfect for Valentine's Day.  She used one of the beautiful stamps in the You Plus Me Clear stamp set, in the Stampin'Up! Occasions catalog.  This is just one of the great stamp sets in that catalog. See a photo of all the cards later in this post.

This card was part of a demonstrator swap I did with friends. Some cards were CASEd (Copy and Share Everything) and some were original ideas.  Either way, we all love stamping and sharing ideas with others.  If you want to learn more about being a demonstrator and having fun crafting with us let me know.  I would love to share all the fun details with you, click here to learn more about being a demonstrator and join my group.

Easy Valentine Ideas

Last week I attended a fun Stampin'Up! event, Leadership.  One of my favorite parts of Stampin'Up! events is the stamping ideas.
These ideas are quick and easy, just perfect for last minute crafts! With Valentine's Day coming up I thought this would be the perfect time to share, and the Sweetheart Punch is on sale through February 9!  Plus the Weekly Deals have other great products on sale too.
I really loved the simple and easy valentine projects that Sara Douglass shared on stage at the Stampin'Up! Leadership Conference.  Sara started with Love Designer Paper Stack, which is perfect for all these clean and simple crafts, she cut them into 2-1/4" strips, then folded them in half and punched a heart in the front.

Put some treats in a Cellophane bag (Stampin'Up! has different sizes too!  6" x 8", 4" x 6", 1" x 8", and gusseted bags).

Other Stampin'Up! bags work great too, like the petite cafe bags or gift bags.

She added some Whisper White Note Cards andEnvelopes and made simple notecards like these.  The left over heart punch outs were perfect for the envelopes or more valentines treats!

Here's all of this week's Weekly Deals from Stampin'Up! for February 3-9.   Enjoy the deals and shop online anytime.  Save 25% OFF!!

Big On You Bermuda Bay Card

Here's a great card from my friend Jan.  She used one of the beautiful stamps out of the Big On You Photopolymer stamp set, in the Stampin'Up!

This card also inspired me to make some sweet treats for friends.  I'll be sharing that post and more this week to show some of the fun last week when I attended the Stampin'Up! Leadership in Orlando, FL.  I loved going to this event.  Imagine spending a few days with hundreds of your closest friends. I love going to these events, it's great to make new friends from all over the country and world and reconnect with friends you've seen in the past.

The Big On You Photopolymer stamp set is a great stamp set for anytime or occasion. Jan used the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack on the card for the fun flowers, as well as some of the wonderful White 1-1/4" Jute Ribbon for the bow.  Jan cut the ribbon in half so it was not as wide (which means you have twice as much).

Go big with the Big On You Photopolymer stamp set for only $25.95 you get 4 great greetings. Just think of all the great ideas you can come up with using this great set. Plus there will be no mistaking your feelings when you use this set.

Punches are a quick and easy way to add interest and dimension to your cards and tags.  The Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack set has 3 great shapes to use on projects, it's a great deal at $16.95.

The White 1-1/4" Jute Ribbon adds a touch of charm to cards and gifts with this trim, 5 yards for only $8.95.
