Valentine's Card Class cards

I'm a little late posting this, but the cards were so pretty I still wanted to share them. These cards would be great for saying I love you, for weddings, birthdays or any special occasion.  These are the cards from my Valentine card class a few weeks ago.

These fun and beautiful cards were a great class.  Everyone made 2 of each card, for a total of 6 cards for $12.  The bottom/front card is CASEd from the Occasions catalog, top left is from Amy Deems and top right is from me, I had some card stock already cut and started playing around with the stamps. Plus my friend Glenda made a beautiful card last year using the Sheltering Tree stamp set, so I am sure I got inspiration from that as well.  

This card is CASEd from the Occasions Catalog CASEd card, page 16.

Supplies used:  Bloomin' Love stamp set, Blooming' Heart Thinlits Dies, Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper Stack, Crumb Cake, Whisper White and Blushing Bride card stock, Crumb Cake, Blushing Bride and Early Espresso inks, Pearls, Glue Dots, Fine-tip Glue Pen.

CASEd card from Amy Deems

I thought this Timeless Textures Card was great, I got the idea for this fun card from a card I saw using Timeless Textures and Botanical Blossoms from Kim Williams' Blog, made by Amy Deems. I changed some of the colors and added hearts instead of flowers.

The Timeless Textures stamp set has wonderful textures.  Change the look of a project with your choice of one image for a little texture, or layer a few for more character.

I love the Confetti Hearts Border Punch.  It's a fun accent for borders and makes great confetti too. The largest heart size is 1/4".

Glenda used the Confetti Hearts Border punch on Whisper White cardstock inside (shows the negative) and then punched Real Red for the hearts on the tree. 

I love using the Sweetheart Punch, I made these quick and easy cards using the punch to show the white negative space of the Stacked With Love Designer Series Paper Stack.

The Fry Box Bigz Die is so fun!  I use mine to make fun holders for treats for friends and customers.  It's a wonderful die and easy to use.  This 3-D shape is 3" x 1-1/2" x 3-1/2".

Black & White Hearts card

Here is a from my class on Saturday.  I love how the black and white hearts card turned out!  I tried some different cards, and played with different embossing folders too.  Turned it portrait and landscape, but this was my favorite!  So simple and clean.  All 3 cards feature products from the Stampin'Up! Occasions catalog. 

The Sweetheart Punch punch is on sale right now as part of the WEEKLY DEALS (ends Feb. 9), for only $11.96, normally $15.95.  The card also uses the Hello Life Photopolymer Stamp set, Stacked with Love DSP Stack, Happy HeartTextured Impressions Embossing Folder, Big Shot, Real Red ink, Whisper White card stock, Basic Black card stock, Rhinestones and Blendabilities Cherry Cobbler.  

Tip:  to color the rhinestones, use your Blendabilities marker on the sheet of rhinestones, wait a minute and take the rhinestone off the sheet and add to your project.  Works great and you do not have to worry about accidentally coloring part of your paper.

You're Sweet card

Here's a great card from my friend Cindy, perfect for Valentine's Day.  She used one of the beautiful stamps in the You Plus Me Clear stamp set, in the Stampin'Up! Occasions catalog.  This is just one of the great stamp sets in that catalog. See a photo of all the cards later in this post.

This card was part of a demonstrator swap I did with friends. Easy Valentine Ideas

Last week I attended a fun Stampin'Up! event, Leadership.  One of my favorite parts of Stampin'Up! events is the stamping ideas. 
These ideas are quick and easy, just perfect for last minute crafts! With Valentine's Day coming up I thought this would be the perfect time to share, and the Sweetheart Punch is on sale through February 9!  Plus the Weekly Deals have other great products on sale too.
I really loved the simple and easy valentine projects that Sara Douglass shared on stage at the Stampin'Up! Leadership Conference.  Sara started with Love Designer Paper Stack, which is perfect for all these clean and simple crafts, she cut them into 2-1/4" strips, then folded them in half and punched a heart in the front. 

Put some treats in a Cellophane bag (Stampin'Up! has different sizes too!  6" x 8", 4" x 6", 1" x 8", and gusseted bags). 

 Other Stampin'Up! bags work great too, like the petite cafe bags or gift bags.

 She added some Whisper White Note Cards andEnvelopes and made simple notecards like these.  The left over heart punch outs were perfect for the envelopes or more valentines treats!

3 x 3 Love Notes

Here are some cute 3 x 3 Love notes I made with the new Stacked with Love Designer Series Paper Stack from the Stampin'Up! Occasions Catalog.  

    

DSP 2-/3/4" x 2-1/2", punch a heart using the Sweet heart punch.
Also punch a small heart with Real Red card stock, use a dimensional to pop up the heart.
Stamp greeting in Real Red ink on the Whisper White card stock.
