Yippee-Skippee stamp set meets Paper Pumpkin

I love the stamp set Yippee-Skippee from Stampin'Up!  Yippee-Skippee is available in both Wood or Clear.  The wood set is on sale right now, so you can buy either set for under $15!  But hurry, this great stamp set is on the retiring stamp list from Stampin'Up!  So they will not be around for long.
Sometimes you just want to say it like you really would to a friend, the Yippee-Skippee stamp set tells it like you think it, with personality to spare.

This was a fun card I made for my husband.  I used the Yippee-Skippee stamp set and the stamps and pink and gold baker's twine from the Filled with Love Paper Pumpkin Kit (January Paper Pumpkin kit*).  Loved the hearts!!

Sheltering Tree Love Card

Here's a great card from my friend Glenda.  She used some of the beautiful Sheltering Tree stamp set, out of the Stampin'Up! Occasions catalog.  This is just one of the great stamp sets in that catalog.

Glenda also used the Hello Life stamp set on the front of the card.  Both of these stamp sets are available in photopolymer.  They are great stamp sets for anytime or occasion.

Glenda used the Confetti Hearts Border Punch on the inside of the card, and glued the punched out hearts to the tree on the front.  Love this idea using the punch in two ways.  It's so easy to cut out tons of teeny confetti hearts in seconds, or make a border.  The largest heart size is 1/4".

Here are both of the stamp sets Glenda used.  Just think of all the great ideas you can come up with using these sets.

January Paper Pumpkin - Lovely Treat

Wow, I cannot believe how cute the January Paper Pumpkin kit is!  I get a kit in the mail every month from Stampin'Up!  Some months I am so busy I cannot get to things right away, but the timing was perfect this month!  I set aside to craft yesterday and when I got the mail, there was my red box!!

Have you ever had one of those weeks or months when you think you are going to get so much done and as the time goes by you feel farther and farther behind? That’s how the last month has been. I knew December would be crazy, and it was (of course! It's December!). I enjoyed the neighborhood cookie exchange and the work potluck, and the stamping get together for the holidays too. Then it was Christmas break, so I thought it’s the a great time to get caught up. But we had family visiting, so maybe after that? Oh wait, now it's time to go back to work. Did I get stamping done? No. Did I get my craft area cleaned up? No. Well actually I got one thing done, my card for a demonstrator card swap.  See it HERE, I love all the new products in the Occasions catalog and the SAB free items, so it's time to get stamping!!
But today I finally got some stamping time in. Perfect timing too, my Paper Pumpkin arrived today. Such a cute kit and I love all the hearts, it will be perfect for Valentine’s Day or just sweet treats to hand out to friends.  My daughter is a little old for Valentine's parties, but my friends will still enjoy a treat.

Here’s the kit, and look at all the contents! There’s a lot of stuff in this kit!

There are 24 cello bags for treats!  That's enough for a whole class or a lot of friends!  Plus you get this great Filled with Love Photopolymer stamp set, a Real Red ink spot, 2 sheets of hearts, 6 sheets of tags (3 designs), 2 sheets of pennants (3 colors), 24 gold clips, pink and gold baker's twine (10 years) and 1 sheet of glue dots.
All I needed was a pair of scissors to make treats, and that was just to cut the twine.

I can make all the cute bags, but I can also do other things with this. I made 2 really quick cards using the stamp set. Really, it took less than 5 minutes to make both cards!

See these sweet bags! You get all the materials to make these bags. But just think of all the other things you can make with this stamp set and the supplies!

I have been behind posting and sharing photos of Paper Pumpkin kits for November and December.   December was so busy that the kit is still in the box (and it was so cute!!  I need some cards, so hoping this weekend will give me time to make those cards!). But I made ALL the November cards, and ordered some refills too.

It’s great to have a kit every month to jump start my creativity.

There is a great deal on Paper Pumpkin right now!
