Soccer Coach Cards

Another soccer season comes to an end, so it's time for cards for the coaches to thank them for all their hard work.  I try and do something different each season.  This time I had a fun idea for the fold out card on the right, and the card left is your basic card.   

Left card: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" scored at 4-1/4"

Right card: 2 score marks, folds into a tri-panel card

Fun Fold Tri-Panel Card Measurements:
Whisper White card stock:  10-3/8" x 5-1/2", score at 2-1/4" and 6-3/8"
Fold and closed, the card measures 4-1/16" x 5-1/2"
Garden Green card stock pieces measure 3-3/4" x 5-1/4" and 2" x 5-1/4"

The soccer ball was made with the Big Shot, Hexagon Hive Thinlits Die and Circle Collections Framelits.

I used the Hexagon Hive Thinlits Die with Basic Black card stock.  Then adhered it to a piece of Whisper White card stock using the Liquid Multipurpose Glue.  After I used the Circle Collections Framelits to cut out my soccer ball and adhered to the card front with Dimensionals.  

If you have any residual glue the Adhesive Remover works great to remove all that.  Just carefully rub in the area the glue is on.

Cupcake Birthday Card

Here's an easy birthday card.  I just love the cupcake punch, it's so fun!

• Card stock  4-1/4" x 11"
• Score at 2-1/2", 6-3/4"
• Use 2-1/2" Circle Punch (put in as far as it will go and center on the fold)
• Use 2-3/8" Scallop Punch, and center it so the flap will go over your scallop when you open the card.
• Use smaller scallop punches to decorate, use a dimensional to pop up (this will hold the top flap of the card closed for you).

Have fun with this card!  Just imagine all the different designs you can make.

Folding Birthday Card with Candles

Getting some stamping time with friends is always good!  Here's one of the cards from the Birthday card class.  I love the little paper candles, and this card has a fun fold too.  

I have seen a number of cards like this on Pinterest and different blogs, loved the idea for this fun folding card.  See all 3 of the cards from my class HERE.

I got the measurements for my card from Julie Davison.  She posted a video recently showing how to make this type of card.  

• Card stock  4-1/4" x 11"
• Score at 2-1/2", 6-3/4"

To Make the Candles: use a square of Designer Series Paper, 1-1/2" x 1-1/2", roll it up, use sticky strip on the edge of DSP to hold it in place.  A dab of Multipurpose Liquid Glue with Baker's Twine stuck inside of the roll makes it look like a candle.

Birthday Butterflies card

Sometimes I just want a quick card, but I still wanted something fun for a birthday.  Here's an easy card, then stamp your own greeting. I just love the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder(free with a $50 purchase through Sale-a-Bration), it's such a fun texture!  Shop online anytime through my stampinup store HERE.  

I love the 2013-2015 In Color Collection, here's 3 of the colors, Coastal Cabana, Crisp Cantaloupe and Strawberry Slush.  I love all the polka dots!!!  Fold your punched butterflies in half, then use a small piece of Dimensional behind each butterfly to pop it up.  The Rhinestones have strips so all you have to do is cut off 3-4 and put them on the butterflies, no lining up to get the spacing right.

Happy Watercolor Tag Card

I love the Happy Watercolor stamp set in the Stampin'Up! Occasions catalog, but who doesn't love flowers?  This great card features a bunch of new products including the Happy Watercolor stamp set, Scallop Tag Topper Punch, Natural 5/8" Chevron Ribbon, and Gold Baker's Twine.  I also used the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder, it's one of the free Sale-a-Bration(SAB) items you can pick when you spend $50.  See more on Sale-a-Bration HERE.

Fun Heart Cards
