Pumpkins

Here is a fun idea for using Designer Series Paper.  Here are some pumpkins made with the Pick Your Poison Designer Series Paper.  I took this photo at the Stampin'Up! Convention this summer.  Just take circles of designer paper, fold in half and glue together, it will look like an accordion until you glue the first to the last, making the circle complete.  These have a little cut at both ends to give it a flatter top and bottom.
Love these pumpkins!  I didn't make these, but I made some pumpkins last year using our Round Tab punch, and it took 12 pieces to make a nice pumpkin.  The photo below shows some of those pumpkins with retired designer paper.
There are so many fun ideas from the new Holiday Mini, I cannot wait to share lots more over the next few months!

Fall Leaf Cards

Here's more photos from the other two cards at my Fall Card Class last week.  First is the Gently Falling card, using supplies from the Holiday Mini catalog.  This was the card I did for a demonstrator swap with friends a few weeks ago.  So much fun getting together to share ideas!
Gently Falling stamp set, Soft Suede, More Than Mustard, Peach Parfait, Very Vanilla, Spice Cake Designer Series Paper, Linen Thread, Stampin' Clear Emboss Powder, Stampin' Sponges, Sponge Daubers, Color Sprizter, Dimensionals.
I did an emboss resist technique with this card, and lots of sponging!  I think the sponging really gives it a certain richness.  Love all the texture it gives it too.  Hint:  After embossing, rub hard in small circles with the sponge to give it a smoother look.  Use sponge daubers inside the leaves to really make them pop!
Here's a great card I CASEd from my friend Mel.  I love the simple elegance of this card.
French Foliage and Word Play stamp sets, River Rock, Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Cajan Craze, Antique Brad, Taffeta Ribbon, dimensionals.

It's a Wrap Occasions

Here's a couple of fun samples with the It's a Wrap Occasions stamp set.  It's a fun one, great for giving little treats to make people smile.  Did you see the project my Hostess Club got last month?  The match box had some of these inside, CLICK HERE to see it.
This sweet sample was a swap one of my friends got at Convention(sorry I don't remember who did this great treat).  I thought this was great for wedding favors.
This was my first try with this set.  At Convention they were letting everyone try out the set, I think I like this one better in clear, I thought it was easier to line up on the labels that way.
Just imagine of all the fun smiles you can give with this stamp set!
