Thank You cards

I needed some simple Thank You cards, and thought these would be just perfect.  They would work for Masculine cards too.

Circle Circus is a great stamp set for lots of different things.  I used Word Play for the saying, it has lots of good sayings for your cards.
Colors were Garden Green, Night of Navy and Whisper White.

Rudolph Hair

My mom showed us someone doing this to their hair on Facebook, she wanted me to be sure and show it to my daughter.  So what did Ashley do?  

She had some fun with my hair!  Very cute idea, thanks to whomever came up with this one. I hope you all enjoy. I know it's not a stamping project, but thought it was so cute I had to share.

Fun Idea for Giving Coffee

Check this out, I got the idea for my coffee project below from a great idea I saw on Skip to My Lou (www.skiptomylou.org) a while back.  I get great emails from her almost every day.  Love all the crafty ideas.  Here's her post "How to Gift Coffee"

Crumb Cake Tags

I fell in love with some tags I saw while surfing Pinterest and Splitcoaststampers.com. I cannot remember where I saw them but it was a group of 4 different tags, and one of them was just like my second photo.  I wish I could remember who I copied this from, if I find it again I will add to my post.

This was the tag I copied from another person, loved the idea.  Just changed the button she used to the flower punches and sponged ink on the edges of the flowers and distressed.

Watercolor Winter cards

Here's a simple or stepped up version of this card.  First just some stamping, then below I used my Label Collection Framelit to make a window and frame the pine stamp and saying. 

Stepped up with Framelit and I used Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder with the Illuminate ink pad in the Holiday mini catalog.  Be sure to use a heat gun and make sure you got to all the areas with embossing powder, or it will flake off later.

Gift Exchange beauties

Here's a few more of the gifts from the Holiday Gift Exchange last weekend.  You already saw my project, and Gina's.  These pretties were done by other people in our group.  Some items may have been cased, but they are all fabulous!

Glenda's tree was wonderful!  This was the first one I picked, but I didnt get to keep it.

This was the second gift I opened, I could not resist this awesome box!  So beautiful, the photos just do not do it justice.  Janet Weisheit made this wonderful box.

Inside she had a beautiful card and a cute gift pouch with M&M's and a gift card.  So sweet!  I didn't get to keep this one either.

Carn made this sweet tree.  Not as fancy as the one she made last year, this could be the travel version.

Crista made this sweet gift.  Loved how she used the Perfect Pennants die for the tree, then layered strips of paper onto the tree.

Gift Exchange gift

This was the gift I brought for the Holiday group get together last weekend. We were supposed to bring a handmade gift $8-10.  I had other ideas, but they took too much time, so I went with something lots of people like, coffee and chocolate.

I used one of the Kraft boxes, stamped it with VersaMark and used Clear Emboss.  There's a Starbucks gift card in it too!  I used the Two Tags Die and wrapped a piece of card stock around the tag.  The Snow Flurry Die makes great snowflakes.  I love the layers in these snowflakes.

 You could take off the snowflake and hang it up to enjoy for the whole season.

Gift Exchange Frame

Look at this beautiful frame!  My friend Gina made this for our groups holiday gift exchange over the weekend.   This is what I got to take home and I love it!  It was so creative and fun. 

I had the first number, and no, this was not the first present I got to unwrap, or the second, or the third.  There were so many wonderful gifts there!  I will try to post some more of the ideas this week.  I was so happy that when I unwrapped this one, and no one stole it from me. 

Here's a close up of the flowers.  I just love how she did this.  Gina stamped the En Francais stamp with StazOn ink on the frame (just make sure you have your words right side up!). She made these great flowers using a Scallop Circle Punch and distressed them (separate the fibers, peel the layers, crumple and fluff) and there's a brad in the middle of each one.  Then she sprayed the whole thing to give it sparkle!  

I love the Stampin' Spritzer, it's so great to be able to add a beautiful shimmer or color to any project.  Mix Alcohol (70%) with a few drops of Shimmer Paint and spray anything that you want to sparkle.

I have been working too hard on some of my tags, this is so simple, yet so cute!

Christmas Tree made of Kisses

Look at this awesome tree made out of chocolate kisses!  Carn Meagher made this last year for our group holiday gift exchange.  This is what I got to take home and I love it!  It was so creative and fun. 

She used Big Shot Scallop Circle dies and Scallop Circle Punches to put this together out of card stock.  Yes, it's all card stock, can you believe it!  

I am going to our group holiday event again this year.  I cannot wait to see what I get, I am also excited to see what I bring.  Nope, I have not started on my project yet.  Can't wait to share what I come up with!

Be Cheery Holiday Tags

Holiday Treats!

So much fun and easy too!  Here's a great project that all my Hostess Club members received with their orders this month, it's filled with chocolate!  

I got the idea from one of the make and take projects at the Stampin'Up! convention this summer. It's so easy, just stamp your image using VersaMark ink on a Kraft Gift Box.  Put treats inside and finish decorating the outside of the box.  I wrapped ribbon around the box and put a pretty snowflake on top using the Snow Flurry die in the Holiday mini catalog.
